:icon18::roflpuke2::roflpuke2::roflpuke2:i did that too lol.... hey phelan whered u get ur pulley and how much? is it better than the stillen one?

phelan 01-23-2010 01:18 PM

LOL hahaha

got the pulley from mike before he closed up shop. I have no idea if it's better than the stillen one. I think they're different pulleys; the Stillen is a lightweight pulley that keeps the original dimensions, but the NST kit has a overdrive/underdrive alternator/crank. So keep this in mind that the Stillen has 1 pulley to change, whereas the NST you will need to change two pulleys and use a different Gates belt.

You stole my NST pulley. :icon23: Glad to see you installed it, but I have not heard of Sun Auto Hyper Grounding Kit. Any info on where I can pick this up or read up on them? I have read up on the Stillen kit and it looks good, but like to have options.

Hey man, I bought my Sun Grounding kit from Lou at Amplified. Don't mean to keep dropping his name but he's a good man and came through for me so I'm sure he will do the same for you. good luck

zero 01-24-2010 08:21 AM

^^ I have to agree with that. Lou at Amplified is a good guy. I dropped by Amplified yesterday to get my wife Z adjusted and also ordered Volk TE37 from him.

Phelan, any shots of your engine bay? Specifically the grounding kit you got, and why you got it over the Stillen kit?

no, but let me get some today. it's finally nice and sunny; the car's a bit dirty, but i can snap a few pictures of the bay and the shift knob.

motoextreme 01-24-2010 03:14 PM

I put a pic on my album of the grounding kit installed. He only had gold on hand so I just picked up that one. Came out pretty cool

I went with the Nismo knob and B&M shifter. I like the way it feels but it sure is a stubby little SOB. Kinda cool though. Lets see some pics Andrew, can't keep it a secret forever or I'll come down there and take some spy pics
