Default [Equinox] Nismo, RX-7, G8 GXP Photoshoot

Took pictures of the car today, and decided to include the other cars in it as well. Rx-7 is a 1996 imported from Japan, so it's Right hand drive. DIdn't have a motor and trans when I brought it over, so now it has a 6.0L V8 LS2 from the 2006 Pontiac GTO(or Corvette). Carbon fiber fenders, hood, T56 Tranny 6-speed, 11.5" wide rear rims, 100 shot of nitrous, headers, cold air intake, and other random stuff. 4" reverse y'd exaust because of the chassis channeling only allowing 1 outlet, and car gets 29 mpg, lol.

Wife's car is a 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP, V8 LS3 6.2L (415hp). So far I've installed the Holden Centerconsole dash with integrated GPS (can't get these cars with GPS) and installed a rear view camera. Exhaust is planned and I'll leave it alone. Stock radio has a 7" screen but no GPS or DVD player, so I bought a JHP Austrailian hack kit (they have the Holden Commedore) and converted her screen to play DVD from glovebox player, and rear view camera on her radio. Only had it for two months, so the car is basically stock.

The Nismo is new, still paper plates. Nothing really done to it but in dash Nav/DVD, K&N drop in filters, Bride Racing Seats, and AutoEXE shift knob. Exhaust is ordered from GTM (3" header back no cats) and I'll throw that on just before I get the GTM twin turbo kit. Enjoy the pics!!

I just realized the Nismo is the slowest car in the driveway. The wife's car averages a 13.0 in the quarter, Nismo is 13.4 at best.

Phelan - The JDM 99+ front end has a big plate holder, and Alabama doesn't require one, so I got a custom JP plate to match the JDM car . I got an album for the Bride seats in the 370z, supposedly I'm the first with any Bride seats in a 370 in American, I'm pretty pumped XD.
Nissan 370Z Forum - Equinox's Album: Bride Gias Racing Seats

Travis- The G8 is pretty hilarious. Runs a 13.0 in the quarter, so it's faster than the Nismo, any corvette that comes with pop up head lights, faster than the GTO, Mustang GTs. So my wife will randomly call me when she's driving it and be like -"Uhm.... am I faster than a.........blank" She's ridiculous, and she gets people talking to her at gas pumps and people stareing. She's not used to that. "Wow fast car you got there young lady!"... "Aww man is that the LS3!?", and so on. I taught her how to say, "Yeah it's the LS3, 6.2 Liter V8 from the corvette, and SS Camaro. 415hp." That's about all she knows. lol.

Ish - I love the 370z. My favorite thing about it, is the rear end looks almost just like the Porsche Cayman or 911, I'm not sure which, but I just love how wide this car is, and the fender arches, how much they flare out. It's ridiculous! The rear tires are as wide as my RX-7's (285) and that was always my favorite thing about the RX-7. I was kinda bummed with the fact the Nismo didn't come with Nav, or Leather - so I had to get seats fast. I got the Nav from Kenwood even before that. I'm still miffed at how good the stock Nav looks - and now how I have the world's most useless dash pocket in the middle of my car!
