1st place went to my buddy Frank who owns a bagged 350Z. It is a really sick car. Between his 350 and my buddy Travis' bagged G35, we are always in constant competition with one another. We all belong to PNW_INC and are on the same show car team Legacy_Ohana lol.

ForumFest 2015 is approaching this Saturday and Sunday I'll be breaking the car down with my buddy jereme to do the lower intake manifold from Synergy.

Got an alignment scheduled for this Friday to fix my toe issue on the passenger front corner. hopefully it all works out.

ForumFest 2015 is a wrap! It was a huge one for me and a first for my car. I was awarded 1st Place Best Nissan/Datsun. I did not expect that one at all!

Next stop: StanceWars 2015. This week, the #Top100 are notified of their selection. Making the top100 is a major accomplishment alone. Fingers crossed on this one!

I actually custom painted the dipstick and the cover for the washed fluid. They were quick and easy to do. Just a few coats and some clear.

The Tomei system is quite amazing. Makes the Z sound like a monstrous race car with the headers. I've always been against super loud systems, but I've definitely changed my mind. The build quality is flawless and the welds are on point!

I appreciate all the comments from you guys. It's great to have support within the community!

Glad to hear that!! There is most certainly a difference between sound quality and volume. It's good to hear that it's a pleasing sound!!

yes, the sound is extremely pleasing and a real head turner. Surprisingly with the windows up it isn't even that loud. Windows open is another thing. My friends love the way it sounds when driving behind me on the freeway at WOT. They can also hear me coming long before they even see me.

Just a small update in the build:

I received an AZ Speng billet coolant overflow tank from our very own DE through a group buy I coordinated with several of my local club members. The quality is amazing and it makes the engine bay look so legit. Simply took a little Chemical Guys Heavy Metal polish and shined her up. While I had the oem out, I swapped in the red coolant hoses from Z1 I had laying around.

Stancwars was a blast as always, but no awards (as expected). It is kind of a biased show with no real judging...but it is all good. It was great to be one of the top 100 cars owning the top floor of the parking garage. Not sure if I will do another one of their events after this summer.

Got Formula Drift and Offset Kings on the 25th! I'll be updating with some new pics shortly, stay tuned!

While this may come as a bit of a shock, especially those that follow my build, I have sold my beautiful Z. Fear not, it's going to a Z enthusiast who previously owned a 350Z and a 370Z. I've loved the rarity in the platform and the joy it has given me, but I am ready for something new. I decided I wasn't going to pursue the build any longer. I've got just a few days left with her and she will be with the new owner come the 15th.

If I could change one thing about my entire build? It would have been all performance and no show.

What platform am I switching to? I'm still unsure and shopping around. Worst case scenario....I get into another 370Z. Start fresh and boost that Lady
