Today a friend informed me that the retrofit source was having a close out on the XbaLed halos. I decided to get a set of the amber color in 70mm. I needed an excuse to open my headlights up again
Gonna mod the turn signal projector shroud and go with dual halos and either paint the shrouds or have them wrapped in CF vinyl. I will probably end up painting them

What a long weekend. My buddy Danny and I put in some major hours on Saturday. We kicked off at 7am and ended the day 22 hours later at 5am. We ran into some bumps in the road during the breakdown and install.
Day 2 started at 10am and ended just before 1pm. Completed: Sub, amp, and wiring removal for Danny's car M7 coilovers(fronts) for Danny's car FI LTH on mine Stillen front and rear sways on mine Sub, amp, headunit, and wiring install on mine. I have a damaged upstream o2 sensor which I am pretty sure is causing the SES light to flash. The steering column had to be disconnected for the drivers side header to be installed. The steering wheel is slightly off and is cocked to the left at about 10pm. Any easy fix, but it can wait. The one that has me a bit confused in my VDC light is illuminated along with the anti-slip light. I have a theory that it may be due to removing the Bose sub and spare tire bc of the TPMS inside. Gonna reinstall it tomorrow.

If you need any help with the fender install let me know. I have a DIY for a different version but the install is the same. I would also recommend having that CF UV protected and cleared if it isn't already.

Appreciate it! I would love to look at the DIY you have. The clear coat looks very good but I may have it sprayed again. After all the CF panels go on, they are being covered with a 3M clear bra to protect from normal wear and tear

Good news to report.
I pulled the negative battery terminal connection this morning and let the ECU reset itself to see if it would clear the SES light. After reconnection and the short 2 mile drive to work, it did not return again. This is good bc the o2 sensor may not be damaged and the ECU may have just had to learn the change from the ART pipes to FI LTH. I will make another log after the drive home from work. Still showing the constant on lights for the VDC OFF and Anti slip indicators.

I could be mistaken but I thought I read stero installs can wack out some dash lights. Maybe nose around in audio section for reset procedures. Like I said I'm not totally sure clouded memory.

I also remember seeing something about the car needing to be drove at 55mph to reset the sensors or something. I am not sure if the removal of the steering column had anything to do with it during the LTH install. Just gotta do a bit of research and figure it out.

SES has not returned, since the ECU was reset.
I tried adjusting the steering column to no success. Probably bc I have never done it before haha. I made an appt. for Friday morning to have it correctly aligned. Base garage charges $73 an hour and they assured me it shouldn't take more than one hour, so no big deal. Gonna try reinstalling my OEM spare and see if that makes he vdc and anti slip lights shut off. Could also be caused by the steering wheel being slightly off...????? Not entirely sure. If neither of those does the trick, maybe the long drive Saturday will reset the lights.

After around 5 hours of driving today, I decided to write a little review on the parts I just installed.
Stillen sway bars: wow! Took the car through some twisted today between 35-55 mph. Car was so firm and planted. Body roll is significantly reduced with both front and rear set to medium stiffness. I adjusted my BC coils to 17 all the way around and the combo of the two makes for a very responsive and fun ride. I enjoyed the twisties and always felt the car. I didn't have the vdc on and the car stay planted and smooth throughout the slightly aggressive throttle. FI LTH: the sound is bananas and the low end response is great. But today I had the car driving most between 35 and 75 mph. Mid-range is awesome and high end is great! I did want spirited drop from 6th to 5th at 65mph and took her up into the triple digits with ease. The drone is significantly less compared to my recent ART pipes. The car screams when you give it the throttle and when you are easy on it, they are barely noticeable. Smell is significantly better than the ART pipes as well. No CEL light at all and I received several compliments at a car meet/show and from this hot barista at a roadside coffee stand served by girls in bikinis. Kenwood DNX9990HD: runs flawlessly and the Garmin Navi works wonderfully. Super fast unit and teamed with the JL audio makes for a big upgrade over the Bose system. I would like to eventually remove the rest of the Bose components and swap them out. Just not sure with what yet or when I'll get to it.
