Let me know how the quality is. I was debating whether or not I should buy them.

I will let you know, Datsun!

Got the hood out of my apartment and over to my garage at work. Just gotta tear the old off and install the new.

Proper photoshoot will ensue!

Scored an awesome deal on eBay today. Brand new Stillen Front and Rear sway bars for $145 shipped!

Holy crap that is a good deal. Was it a company selling or a private seller?

I would jump on that in a second!

Huck, it was an Infiniti dealership here in Wa. They had it set up for auction. I made three bids and won with the last one.

Checked Stillen's site and they are $308 shipped new. I paid less than 50% for them :)

Hahaha as soon as I saw this I jumped on eBay and started searching. I really have my heart set on whitelines but for that kind of deal I wouldn't mind going with the Stillens.

Its funny because I want to start buying body parts for the Z but I keep seeing handling and performance parts I want more for some reason, even though I don't track the car. Gt Spec braces, Fortune Auto coil covers, Whiteline sways... I'll never get to the looks of the car at this rate lol.

I really balanced everything out between looks, performance, and handling. When it comes to suspension and performance, I have no problems buying used and waiting for the right deals. I saved a lot of money in those departments.

As for looks, buying new is a tough bullet to take. But it's worth it to do it right.

Finally was able to get my SS hood installed. The mock fitment is about a 9/10 but it required plenty of work that I did not expect. There still has to be some minor adjustments made and a latch and rubber seal left to install. The biggest pain in the *** was having to Tap and Die the hood for the OEM latches to fit. The SS hood is molded with 5/16 threaded nuts and bolts....The OEM hardware The drivers side alone took about 2 hours to complete. The last of things will be completed later today.

And done!

Another nice addition showed up today. Should take just a few minutes to wipe down the handles and install.

Nice!

That's the one thing that annoys me, if I spend $700-$900 on a product if should at least fit right without having to mod it.

Dude, I so agree with you. I am glad the nightmare of getting that hood to fit is over. I am just glad that my buddy is very knowledgable with taps and dies.

On a positive note, I love getting packages :)
