Stopping POWAAAA!!

Went with Z1 2 piece rotors and steel braided lines. Install wasn't bad at all.

Very clean job!
Is there a great difference in stopping power?

Thanks! Let's be honest! Our sport brakes are pretty damn good. I'd say they are about the same right now. However, I probably haven't worn the oil coating off the rotors yet and I haven't heated them up with any spirited driving to take advantage of the SS lines. So when I do...I'll report back.

Nice! Good upgrade for sure. I think the main benefit over stock is their light weight

Learning some lessons over the weekend!

Tried my hand at some plasti-dip.

Sprayed flat black on the front fangs. Thought my experience with auto body would help me make it look pretty good. But this product is pretty hard to get perfect. I didn't like a line I cut on the EVO-R CF lip either. Good thing I guess is it can come off.

I also tried the smoke on the taillights. It's a little dull for more liking. I sprayed some glossifier at the end and that shined it up. I may take it off and try again with a glossifier coat between each cot of smoke. But it took 7 coats to get it where I wanted so that may be an all day project!!

LOL! I think you're right on this one brother! Like I said, I thought being I've painted some national show winners before I went to college and became a desk jockey, I thought I could make it look good. Problem is, this stuff sticks to the tape and pulls up the edges. Hard to make it look nice.

thank god it peels off, i think if something is suppose to look like plastic, it be plastic

I wouldn't 'try" it if it didn't come off!

actually though, I may try the tint again. I tried the glossifier on the last coat to see if it would clear up the cloudy/flat look plasti-dip smoke has. It kinda did! and I'm wondering if I add it after every coat if it wouldn't look nice and glossy like real tint!

So............. I've got a little project build going on that relates to the Z. I've been getting into RC drifting. I purchased a car a few months ago and have been building it progressively as I learn to drive it. Last week I ordered Wheels/coil overs/ and a 370z body. I figure it will be a nice touch to have a mini clone! LOL

I wish I had more updates for the real car! Unfortunately, I'm waiting and waiting on some evo-r parts to come so I can get them to my painter. I've also got my fingers crossed for another reason. Got a Mountain bike I'm selling that has been getting interest. I'm hoping the guy that is going to look at it this week buys it, because that may move up my coil over purchase some!!! :)

I got an HPI E-10 ready to run car. But like anything, I ended up doing a lot of upgrades on it right off the bat. It's a good car to learn on, but had I know I was going to enjoy it this much I would have bought a better one right off the bat. RC Drift Tools & Guides RC Drifting Countersteer DriftMission.com is a great resource for info.

I saw the like from Luciano. How did I know he would be all into that! LOL
