Just a sweet pic someone took at a meet in Myrtle Beach. On another note, I've been seeing so many people I know get their cars damaged either in driving collisions or just stupid people driving, I decided to get a dash cam. I figure its a cheap investment that might help me out one day. I even decided to get one for my wife's car and my daily Prius.

There's so many out there that it was hard to decide on one to get. They range anywhere from $50 to $500 :P Took me a few hours of researching online to find one that I felt comfortable with. I should be getting them this or next week then I can post up my review. For now I'm just using my GoPro Hero 3 set in 5 min loop and hardwired for power as my dash cam.

I thought the same thing. My brother got me a nice cheap one for X Mass. It's a BlueSkySea or something. I figure its good insurance for accident and keeps valet drivers from doing stupid stuff with my car if know the drive is being recorded. The camera powers on when the car starts and stays on for 30 seconds after the car is shut off. It also has a G shock function where it will record and "lock" the recording so it can't be recorded over when the accelerometer triggers a sudden change in G's.

OMG I've fallen in love with my car all over again. Just got around to installing rear camber arms and a Racelogic Traction Control system.

For the rear camber arms, I just went with SPC for now with their 72262 kit which differs from the 72260 arms which are listed on a lot of websites like Z1. The 72262 kit comes with toe bolts and lock out plates and also have "xAxis" bushings which are supposed to handle like mono balls. The 72260 doesn't include toe bolts or lock out plates and has an OEM type rubber bushing. I decided to get these instead of SPLs awesome arms because of the price and I don't plan on seriously tracking my car anytime soon. I thought the price couldn't be beat for $184 for everything too. Install was easy and got my camber where I want it to be:

As for the Racelogic (RLTC) Traction Control...I got an AWESOME deal from one of the guys on this forum that I couldn't pass up. This was the non-can bus unit which had to be spliced in to the ECU and have wheel sensors tapped for the no-lift shift option.

I was a little intimidated by all the wiring at first, but I took my time, read all the info in the DIY on here and in the RLTC manuals. I also had a lot of help from JMac and JTodd. Taking my time, it took about 2-3 days to get everything in the way I wanted it. A lot of the time was figuring out where I was going to mount the digital controller and making sure I had the wiring right. I decided the easiest and most convenient place for me was in the cubby. I also decided to move my Greddy PRofec boost controller to the cubby too.

I got everything wired in...fired it up...and then wasn't getting signals from the front wheels. I figured out that I wired in the sensor chips at the wheels in reverse, but that was an easy fix. Then I realized I had my wheel sensor wires mixed up at the main unit and the controller showed the rear left wheel was the front left wheel, but that was an easy fix, just switched wires around.

After I was getting the correct signals from each wheel, I messed with the configuration through the laptop serial/usb connection and made sure the tire sizes, engine cylinder number and other settings were good. Re-connected the digital adjuster and it showed the correct RPMs and showed full functionality. Before testing the system out I got my alignment corrected.

So far I've tried out the No-lift shift option, slip/traction control in turns, and just a standing launch test.....I LOVE IT! Feels like a new beast and now I feel it was a definitely good purchase and would do it all over again. If you're boosted this should be on your To-Buy list :D Contact JMac and check out his posts. I would totally recommend this to any Z boosted or not. I'll have vids up as soon as I can.

Got a shipment I've been anxiously awaiting for:

https://i.imgur.com/l7GkQvW.jpg
Sold my Volk GTS wheels and got a good deal on these TE37 SL Pressed Double Blacks:
18 x 10 +30 and 18 x 11 +18. I'll be selling my NT03s once I get these Volks on.

These things feel so LIGHT! According to my super precision bathroom scale, the rear is about 21 lbs and the front about 18 lbs.

Oh yeah, also replaced my GoPro with an actual dash cam now so I don't have to manually push on/off. Went with an A118C (capacitor version) and liking it so far. Its small and has a small foot print, but still records good quality video and audio.

Soo awesome bro! nice wheels

Drivetrain issues with VSR turbo

What other drive line parts have you upgraded or had issues with since installing the turbo. Are you using the stock clutch, transmission handling the extra power etc?
