If I may ask, how much was the gold wrap material and how much did you need?

You can find the DEI reflect a gold wrap online for sale at several different websites. I used two tools of both widths, but what I wrapped and what you wrap may be different. I had to wrap more pipes because of the turbo piping. I also had to re do a pipe our two because I learned half way through how to wrap it nicely: cutting into strips instead of a continuous long piece.

Yeah, my main goal is to probably cover the piping from the intercooler to the TB. Good to know on the cutting, did you do this while the piping was in the engine bay or did you pull it out?

I pulled out lol. Much easier weight the pipes out. Its worth the time to take them out and do it right. You should clean the pipes well to get the surface prepped for the adhesive to stick properly. I measured how much I needed to wrap around the pipe plus an extra little for a small over lap. I also cut some of the strips in half, length wise to wrap nicely around bends.

Very nicely done, I'll wrap mine pre install but I love that gold I'll probably do the same under the hood.

Another update...did more tuning with MotionLabTuning.com - Engineering Performance last night and hit 611 rwhp / 517 ft-lbs at 10.5 pounds of boost

Definitely pushing the limits of the stock block.

It was a Q16 race gas tune.

LoL..we drove it for a little bit but the 295 Michelin PSS tires in the back just couldn't keep traction. I'll try it again at the strip once I get drag radials...crossing fingers for nothing breaking

Dont jinx the poor guy. lol. Sick build so far. Ive been looking at that kit myself seeing as how tampa is only a 2 hour drive for me. Very impressed.
