Very nice build and nice choices on many of the parts, and I'm not just saying that because we share some of the same lol.
You guys out West seem to be putting together some really nice rides, good stuff! |

Thanks guys!
Got my z1 hood dampers installed, as well as my Shine Auto rear spats yesterday, and today it went in for a full exterior detail. Now if only that GTM MHI TT kit would get here faster! Haha |
Just an update - The car has been stored for the winter, but beforehand I was able to get a some awesome photos taken by my friend!
Modification wise, not much has changed with the car. I installed the Z1 oil cooler, Password:JDM engine bay covers, did a wire tuck and got some fancy burnt titanium fasteners from a local vendor. I may pick up some Amuse sideskirts over the winter, and switch over to the Shine Spec-S carbon front lip I have but I have yet to decide. I've also been thinking of doing something with the headlights but again, I have yet to decide. I'm honestly just hoping GTM ships my TT kit soon so I have something to fiddle with over the winter *crosses fingers*! Speaking of which, now with their GTX2867 offering I may just have to upgrade to that instead...so many decisions! Haha Anyhoo, onto the pictures.. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2880/1...e56e65bb_o.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5536/1...27be84f2_o.jpg http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3741/1...f2e92190_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7438/1...0860bc1e_b.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5502/1...96e7dc1b_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7397/1...46500564_b.jpg Hope you guys enjoy. :) |

How's the fitment of your rear diffuser?

I took the bumper off, used a good amount of the supplied 3M tape and silicone, C-clamped it down, installed the 2 screws on the bottom and let it sit for a day. Ended up fitting just as expected, although I can imagine people who daily drive their Z having problems with getting the silicone tacky enough to hold it in place. Not to mention, ideally you shouldn't have to take your bumper off for something like this. I probably could have gotten away with just doing it while it was on the car, but I had the time and didn't want to be redoing anything so I thought I might as well take it off. Also, I had to take the diffuser off when I changed out my "buthole" light and wow... I don't know what that black silicone is made of which EVO-R supplied me with but holy **** is it ever strong once it solidifies. |
Great looking 40th. Love the wheels!!
