370Z JT 06-14-2013 01:43 AM

Nice!

Suspension?

KevinN 06-21-2013 12:37 AM

teaser pic is up... the exhaust was about 2600ish. for suspension, im leaning towards the apexi s1 coilover

Mr&Mrs 06-21-2013 04:01 AM

Hey brother glad to see you made a thread! Cant wait to see your car completed. Just so you know the exhaust is going to hit an emissions box on the passenger side in the rear. I pulled off a plastic piece to give it a little more space but it is still sitting a little off center. One of these days im going to get under there and try to try the box a little bit more.

Mr&Mrs 06-21-2013 04:03 AM

Thats after the nice refund we got for the delay though correct?

Yeah I saw you ran into that problem in your thread. Did you also remove the black EVAP box?

I was also worried about the EVAP box before I received the exhaust... I asked Mark if I would have to remove the EVAP and he said no... :shakes head:

Yeah it was after the refund for the delay. What a frustrating experience

guamspyd3r 06-21-2013 03:32 PM

Pretty solid build going on here and with authentic JDM parts is a plus :)
I love the TE37 black edition but wish they came in 19"s

I didnt remove it yet because of conflicting information. Ryan (98intrigue) said he had to remove it for his HKS install and no issues. The DIY I found said it would throw CEL or SEL lights. One other person said they used UpRev to disable the codes. Im not sure what I want to do yet. I think im going to see if I can trim the box some to make it fit. My hope was that it would melt the box to the perfect spot. Doesnt look like that is going to happen though.

For the price I just wanted people to know they are not going to touch it for that amount. We had a group buy plus a refund and no shipping cost.

KevinN 06-21-2013 04:54 PM

So the exhaust is installed and fit nicely, the evap box had to be removed though..

details please!

KevinN 06-21-2013 05:38 PM

The evap box/shield is the only thing you need to remove. The DIY you were talking about is not needed.

saber 06-21-2013 06:01 PM

You removed the evap box and the car doesn't throw a CEL??

KevinN 06-21-2013 06:28 PM

No it did not throw a CEL

Mr&Mrs 06-21-2013 07:28 PM

I must be confused on what this thing is. I see a few lines running to it. What do you do with those?

KevinN 06-24-2013 09:09 PM

I added another teaser picture before the wheels go on.

Its the black box on the rear passenger side. theres 3 bolts that secures it. I didnt take any lines out, those are still there. Theres enough clearance between the exhaust and the lines.

Mr&Mrs 06-25-2013 05:22 PM

Ok so you just leave the lines hanging there with no plugs or filters?

saber 06-25-2013 05:26 PM

Wow, interesting. So I guess you won't worry about the evap canister not being there until you need to run an emissions test? When you'll have to go back to stock anyway

Mr&Mrs 07-01-2013 01:56 AM

I cut my box and it still is not even. The problem is elseware.

Kingbaby 07-01-2013 02:42 AM

Is their motor work being done too?

zfamous 07-01-2013 04:29 PM

Everything is looking proper. That exhaust looks real good with the color of your car. Can't wait to see how the wheels flow with the body lines.

Not currently, looking to do suspension, hopefully a cup kit set up and some bucket seats.

Thanks, trying to sell the wheels to upgrade to some 19 or 20s but if they dont sell by next week, gonna slap them on and roll with them.

Fitment of Zele body kit was outstanding. My painter said he never worked with a kit that fit so well, and that the quality of the kit was top notch.

Exhaust sounds so sick, although it is super loud inside of the cabin. Gets pretty annoying on long drives.

Gonna wait to put my tires, wheels, and suspension all on at one time. Once I get those dialed in, i will get a real photo shoot in.

KevinN 08-06-2013 12:27 AM

updated with some crappy cell phone pics. coilovers and wheels mounted. planning on a twin turbo set up soon.

waiting to set up a proper photo shoot.

Luciano13 08-06-2013 08:26 PM

The car looks great Kevin!!
How's about u post an exhaust clip?? Im very interested in hearing that Zele run:tiphat:

KevinN 06-12-2014 02:23 PM

it's been a while, but might as well give an update on the car. talked to Sebastian at Specialty Z and my car will soon be outfitted with the Fast Intentions Twin Turbo kit which will be running on e85. Just waiting on Fast Intentions to get the kit together. Stay tuned.

Mr&Mrs 06-12-2014 05:23 PM

Awesome!

GaleForce 06-12-2014 11:19 PM

Beast mode!

faceglide 06-13-2014 08:05 AM
