I don't see anything with "warning" in the description. I have the defi "red racer" series.

With the stock warning light. When it comes on, it's too late to do anything. With a gauge. If it's a slow loss of pressure. You'll see it and shut the engine off. No such luck with the light.

Ok so last minute change. I'm going to run oil pressure, boost and AFR and delete oil temp. Reasoning being I still have my engine temp monitor and I'm not going to be doing any heavy duty track work that would get into the danger zone anyway. If the engine temp skyrockets, I will know.

Oil temp fluctuates a lot more than water temp. You might be into limp mode before you see the water temp move at all.

Any reason you can't put a gauge or two in the cubby? I'd rather do that than completely remove the oil temp gauge.

You'd have to buy a new oil temp gauge whether you put new gauges in the dash pods or stash it in the cubby. You're far enough into this build where another $2-300 is just noise. I wouldn't go without it completely. I'd say it's arguably more important on a sc build than a boost gauge, since you're running a fixed boost level and don't have to worry about overboosting. Not to say you're considering not running a boost gauge, just that's where it would fall on my list of engine parameters to keep an eye on.

Someone posted a picture of a setup with defi temp boost and pressure and the AFR gauge right in the corner of the windshield near the A pillar but not on it and now I can't find the picture.

Like they were just suction cupped to the A pillar?

Unless Baer made more of those, that pillar is in my garage waiting for me to get off my lazy *** and install it. OP is trying to stay away from a pillar mount, though. I'm partial to a pillar mount just so boost and AFR are in my line of sight, but some people want an OEM appearance.
