I mean, that comes with the territory when you are going to be making almost 50% more power compared to stock. I guess thats why a good rule of thumb when going boost is to have an emergency fund set aside just in case. Know what I mean?
That was you? Hah. Yeah just a concern. I worry a lot.

Question: How badly do I need an AFR gauge? I picked up boost/vac & oil temp but the wideband AFR sensor module is like another $150 plus it has a sensor bung you have to weld into your freaking exhaust.

I would never drive an FI car without one.

I wouldn't run an aftermarket fi kit without one. How else would you know if you're running too rich or too lean?

You really need to get one when I tune my car I use the gauge not Uprev plus the wide bands in our cars are not the most accurate as it goes up in RPM it is more off, mine are off 1full point at redline.

Blow it up and start over. After talking to some folks, I'm going to return the PLX sensors I bought and look into replacing the stock clock and voltage gauges with boost and AFR.

Quote requests out to multiple vendors for Innovate/Defi gauges and associated sensors.

The fun never ends.

If you replace one of those gauges you have to replace all 3, just a heads up.

Why? Is there a wiring harness issue?

There is a single board behind that controls all 3, trying to find the picture of it but basically it was if one goes they all go with how it was designed (bad idea by Nissan).

Ahaha Defi doesn't make a wideband AFR gauge either (wtf). Innovate or Prosport I guess.

Revised plan: Innovate gauges for oil temp, AFR and boost replace OEM gauges. No Defi. No multigauge. Nix the clock and voltage gauges.

Had to choose between oil pressure and oil temp and I'm gonna go with temp - thought being if I have a massive oil pressure drop it should be pretty obvious pretty quickly.

Yeah, that is one reason I am not liking Defi is because I cannot get a wideband AFR gauge.
I want to do all 3 and put in an oil temp, AFR and fuel pressure but defi does not do AFR.

Well hell, Innovate gauges are cheaper and come in red/orange so that'll have to do.

Anyone know anything about ProSport gauges? They were the other option someone threw out.
