Looks good. Was the yellow on the lips damaged?

Hey! Car looking good as usual.

Finally bit the bullet and got the front LIP.

How low are you dropped and any damages to the lip so far?

Not sure on the drop but I am on Tein springs. I know it's a slight drop, not too much. The only damage is underneath from scraping but luckily you can't see it.

Good to hear, it's just the usual wear and tear.

Thanks!

Hey guys! Haven't been on in a while...

Thinking about switching over to H&R springs, I want my car lower. Who has them? Are they ok for DD use? I will probably have to get rid of the lip if I do.

Also debating if I want to paint the lip on my wheels aluminum silver with some plastidip. I want to change it up a bit but don't want to buy new wheels. If I don't like it I can just peel it off which is good. I think it will look good with the emblems on my car.

What do you guys think?

Zbrah 12-09-2014 11:33 PM

Before you get the H&R, talk to Rafael aka axmea? for his personal experience with them. Your car is looking great as usual. I think I spotted you on Beach Blvd one morning not long ago, took me a bit of thinking and realized it's you with the yellow calipers.

axmea? 12-11-2014 12:11 AM

I'd go with c/o and here is why. If you simply want to go low, H&R is the way to go but you will need to get new shocks as well. I should have gotten better shocks to go with it when I switched over to H&R. This will take you to close to about 900-1000 bucks. That's BC/Powertrix territory. I eventually switched over to coils.

I you are set on just H&R Sport Lowering Springs P/N: 53075, it was $233 OTD when I got it. Call this number 626-279-7986 to check availability of this item.

Have not had to switch shocks and I am very pleased with the springs thus far. I think I put 15k on them already

TaylorRyan370 12-12-2014 04:36 PM

So why do some people need new shocks and others don't?

I think I am gonna wait a bit, see what happens next year if I get a new car.

TaylorRyan370 04-09-2015 11:58 PM

Well its almost that time. Car will be for sale in a few weeks. :wtf2:

I've got this on order :usa:  :postwhore:
