This was probably the best moment, to that date, with the Z. First time she got Pro-Tuned...... I'll never forget the pull sound:driving:
http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1423005193 Also this was the first time meeting anyone from the370z.com LMBmikeZ & MarcusZ:tiphat: |
Here's the follow up to the "pull sound"

This is the field of cars that I do not know too much about. I base my mechanical choices on those of great experience. Test pipes were not recommended with my exhaust setup on the 370z.... Anyone have test pipes + straight out exhaust system on their 370z? I would change in a second if there is no issues.....:ugh2: |

I basically have straight pipes, test pipes with my armytrix exhaust no cats and it runs great... has that old muscle car exhaust smell that i love now too. lol

Hmm interesting, didn't know the bung extension will let you avoid CEL on even test pipes. Might have to check out my options

LTH would not be worth it for me. They are pretty expensive & not easy to install. I do plan next year or so to go boost. At least that's the plan for now, for the future;) |

Thanks bro!! |
Test pipes = tune 100%
You're changing the entire dynamics of the exhaust flow vs stock cats. Test pipes = more fuel needed. Also u will gain lots of power vs most likely losing power.(which was losing power after.my installs) |

I added the FI test pipes without a tune and noticed an instant improvement in power/torque across the band. Will get tuned soon, but first I want to add a couple of mods (Z1 intake manifold/headers).

I was running approx 20% lean after my mods.... Meaning i had more power than stock, however, I needed more fuel for full potential power;) |
Luciano, what tips do you have on your exhaust? Carbon signal quad tips? Do you know what the tip diameter is?
