lookin sharp! Like the transformation

Voice59 03-10-2013 06:58 PM

Thanks man... just trying to keep up with you guys. lol

Jasonle 03-10-2013 07:00 PM

is that a modded nismo front?

Voice59 03-10-2013 07:31 PM

Nah. It's the N-spec bodykit. Super cheap...kinda regret getting it a little. But it gives me the Nismo look for nowhere near the Nismo price.

I've decided to go the Vestito route... Just putting a few things together first.

Jasonle 03-10-2013 09:25 PM

I like it. Why do you regret? fitment issues?

Voice59 03-11-2013 08:11 AM

Yeah...just a few fitment issues. And it's a really cheap quality kit. But more so because there's so many other better looking kits out there. I don't really like the trial and error method when it comes to mods. I'd rather just do it right the first time.

It wasn't until after I got this kit that I saw the Vestito...and that's what I really want. So I'm gonna stick with this one for a while until I get that. This one will be my back up in case my car takes cosmetic damage in anyway. LOL

Fly1 Motorsports 03-11-2013 04:17 PM

Lookin' good Kai...just enjoy the progression (and we'll enjoy watching)!

Punk86 03-11-2013 06:43 PM

Looks good! I want those fenders now! haha

Jasonle 03-11-2013 06:50 PM

I was going to get that front bumper...I really like it.. but haven't heard too many ppl getting it and didn't know how the fitment was. But seeing it on your black z makes me jealous lol.

It gives it a real sleek look which I love. It's been a struggle deciding betwen the amuse front bumper and this one. And parts of me still think the Nismo front bumper is more sleek, practical, and gives the car a better profile. But the Amuse has the potential for carbon fiber accents...and that's really what I'm looking for now. At least that's the idea I have in my head.

Minus the fitment issues the N-spec bumper is damn good. Cheap, gives you the look you want...and did I mention cheap? LOL

I would like to see a straight side profile shot of your car. Everything looks great!

Voice59 08-28-2013 05:12 PM

Probably some time after this weekend. My car is kind of dirty and my wheels...atrocious. LOL. Thanks for the compliment.

Jasonle 08-29-2013 06:48 AM

Sexy!

Voice59 08-29-2013 06:51 PM

Thanks man... I finally caught up to you guys. LOL

Jasonle 08-29-2013 07:06 PM

What you do with your front ait nspec bumper? Like the look before and now!

Voice59 08-29-2013 07:14 PM

Oh ****. Thanks for reminding me. It's actually still at the body shop. I have to go pick it up. I'll probably end up putting it in my storage unit. Try to sell it.

Looks awesome

Mr&Mrs 08-31-2013 05:38 PM

Very nice, I needed to seethe side profile of that wing with the Amuse.

Voice59 08-31-2013 05:46 PM

It's a little "rigid" but I definitely prefer how it looks from the rear and the fact that it's an add on and completely carbon fiber. It goes perfectly with the "theme" I was trying to set.

Here's some more...

And the very fact that you're looking at my journal as a "reference" to anything is a complement in itself. Your Z is one of the cleanest I've seen since I've been on the site. You, Calvin, Simota, J. Vachs and whoever it is with that other Zele, always impress.

EZT 08-31-2013 06:10 PM

I'm really loving your Z. Keep it up!

Voice59 10-12-2013 05:53 PM

Stage 1.5?

Nahhh, I've decided to go Stage 1. Traction is probably an issue when you have 500whp. I'm pretty sure with supporting mods I can get 450whp or at least really close. I think I'll be fine with that. The extra money I would've spent on the 1.5 can go to the phantom cup kit I'm looking at.

Mr&Mrs 10-13-2013 06:39 AM

Fair enough, but you can never have enough power :stirthepot:

LoL.. So they say. I have a feeling that I'll want more...but if it really comes down to that, I'll just get a faster car. I don't track. The power is just to put a-holes in their place really. Too many stock V8's are pushing their luck here. And I have to let'em...for now.LOL

kazman 10-13-2013 08:11 PM

Subscribed. Nice build

Stance Supersport +

Meulen 10-18-2013 09:47 AM

Nice!!! Did you have to get some kind of camber kit with those? I heard that Stance coilovers have a camber plate. I wasn't dure if you need to get anything to adjust camber and toe with this kit?

I'm still doing the research on that. Everyone I've seen with these coilovers has some sort of camber kit.

Eclipz 08-23-2014 09:50 AM

Are those Volk G2 wheels? they look lovely.

Voice59 08-23-2014 11:40 AM

Yup sure are. I kind of wish I paid more attention and got the type 2's but these give it a great look that's not gaudy or over the top. Thanks for the compliment man.

Voice59 10-17-2014 02:42 PM

Well, everything is purchased. The last couple things were a Quaife VLSD differential, RJM Clutch pedal assembly, and a CSF triple pass radiator. November 1st my car is scheduled to have the install and tune of everything at Hill's Garage in Maryland. I'm still on deployment right now so I'll have to let you guys know how it goes once I can get behind the wheel. Hopefully by this time next month I can fill you in.
