Finally got around to putting on my z1 under-tray. It had to be modded slightly to accommodate the drain hole on my baffled oil pan.

Also finally pulled the bumper and installed my sweet blacked out nismo or at least new style headlight buckets.

The old ones were beat.

While I was under there I cleaned out my air filters (gen 2 Stillen cold air intake filters are a PITA to get to as the bumper has to come off which means wheel well skirts too. Ug. I’m considering putting the JWT pop chargers back in. The stillen setup is good for about 10 degrees of intake temp. Maybe I can figure out how to route cooler air up there and keep my filters accessible?

Talking

It only takes about 10 minutes to remove the bumper.

True enough, but I live in a pretty dusty area so clean the filters a lot. Its no biggie just a PITA compared to those much more accessible pop chargers. I order body clips in bulk because they tent to break when I pull the fender well clips. I have toooooo many car projects going these days to be pulling my bumper all the time lol.

Its funny how your cool pampered car (the Z in this case) sort of goes on the back burner when you building some new ones. Doh!

Edit: my brake cooling ducts complicate the bumper pull process a bit. But I’m considering pulling those buggers out anyway as this Z really doesn’t see much track time anymore and my old hoses are so beat up to be basically useless anyhow.

Thank you Jeff Bezos!!!
