Z1 says all that cylinder wear is normal. They like how it’s built and are sending it back to me. They say they recommend I drop it back in and run it.

So in it goes. If it blows up I guess I’ll just drop in a Stock block. I’m out of ideas how to get this motor right. It’s been 9 months trying to rebuild and I guess I’m the to the point where I just have no idea how to get it right. I’m going to run it like it’s not FUBAR and hope for the best. I could have dropped in two Factory crate motors on what I’ve spent trying to get this build one running.

Bummer. Or maybe it’s fine. It still sounds like a bag of nickels when it runs though.

Thinking it could be the cam profile on the exhaust. The shape of the ramps may not be noise friendly.

John wolf said it’s not normal to sound like that but like I say I’m going to run it and see what happens.
