I was just thinking that. Some other time. I'm on a push to get her ready or I'd wait for some sweet SPL stuff.

(Plus... did I mention my devastated budget)

What budget! That went out the window when you got the kit car! I would get the Z running first. Then get the SPL stuff at a later date. Like when you can start to see daylight over the rim of the hole you dug. :rofl2:

Found out what you mean. :shakes head:

So with my wife and then my ex-wife and then the Z and then my project car that means I've got like four wives right??

Update
Motor started and made enough power do drive around at like 1/10 throttle. Idled okay but not making any power. It seems like a fuel pressure problem??? It's supposed to dyno today but unless we can get it running that might not happen.

I missed my track day

Come on now, fingers crossed and lots good thoughts headed your way.

Prayers sent!

Two codes
Throttle position sensor
Crank alignment sensor

Throttles not scary
Crank could be timing problems when rebuilding which requires partial tear down (let's hope not!!)

Anyhow no dyno this week

Rusty 10-04-2017 07:52 PM

Bummer. :(

SurfDog 10-05-2017 12:05 PM

It will be okay.
z is at dealer getting a reflash on the sensors that will probably clear it all up and get me out of limp mode.

If there are any other issues (bad throttle bodies or sensors) the maintenance shop supervisor is a friend and pretty talented mech so he'll sort them out for me while I'm working this week.

I'm confident I'll have her on the dyno soon (maybe Monday??)
