Also, the Top Secret side skirts are coming off. They make it hard to use the lift, and that's just not going to work for me.

Are you just going to leave the stock ones on?

Most likely.

How much lower doors the front lip make the front end? I run truck jacks in my garage to get a higher clearance. I either use the factory jack to get the cat high enough to get the big jack under. Or I drive on to a piece of 2x4 to clear it.

Fixing to buy me a front lip is why I ask?

It's the side skirts. The issue is that, because of the way they're shaped, they want to touch the arm of the lift rather than the pad. That's going to destroy them in a hurry. I had to put the pad extensions on, and then lift the car up with a jack so they would clear. Then the fact that I've got the extensions on make it so that I can't use the full height of the lift because of the ceiling height. The stock side skirts I would be able to roll up, swing the arms under and lift the car.

I'm pissed. I like the skirts. At least I found out they won't work for me before I spent the money to have them partially painted and re-cleared. I'm keeping the lip. I love the way it looks and I got way too good a deal on it.

I'm thinking of grabbing the Type NS lip

I wouldn't have put a Mishimoto on my car at gunpoint. The radiator that leaked was a CSF. If you've got an issue, they'll take care of you.

I agree with this statement whole heartedly. There are 2 companies' parts that will never be in or on my car............Mishimoto is one of them.

Yeah we were a little optimistic thinking we were going to knock all this out in one night. Guess we learned the hard way that GTM shoves a lot of stuff in front of the radiator to get the TT kits to work. Took a lot of attempts to get everything bolted back correctly. Lesson learned...

So we ready to get back at this and knock it out?

not to get off topic, but when I had my rims/tires taken off for powdercoating.. when put back on.. the TPMS alarm went off. Even after tire pressure was more than fine for all of them..

They first told me that all 4 sensors are not reading...

Then they tried to tell me the alert was on when they pulled in the car.. which was not the case... So, had the guy plug back in his CPU, reset the sensors from under the steeringwheel, and viola.. they work again.

I would of told discount to go online and do some research to figure out how to use their stuff.

So, all that's left is to burp the coolant again tomorrow. The grand total of what was accomplished:

New CSF radiator and condensor
Z1 Silicone Radiator hoses
OEM 2008 G37 thermostat- 10 degrees lower than stock
Spal fan for the oil cooler set to come on at ~210 or so
Redline tranny fluid
Redline diff fluid
Greased sway bars
