Thanks I will do when I save up for a lap timer =)

Sad to see you also had a bad experience with EVO-R.
Me personally will never buy anything from then again. This is an awesome thread nonetheless! |

Steering Lock Fuse Pulled
So I decided to do the preventative fix for the Dreaded Steering Lock.

You did prime the oil cooler before you put it back together?
|
No, how come you asked? I only touched the body kit.
|
Sorry for the confusion,
I was going through the thread and I saw you had the oil cooler taken apart. What I meant by prime was to fill the cooler with oil to eliminate and or minimize the air gap before you start the engine. Its also the same reason why I would not have the oil line connection at the bottom of the cooler so oil won't drain back, its little details that make a difference and saves from toasting an engine. |

Nuff Zed when you see a man's garage with a set of tool boxes like yours. I absolutely love the work you put in your car. To me, it's not only what you have in the end but also what you put in your journey. Great work bro!

I know i'm not really offering any solution but I did end up making myself the Nismo replica brake duct from the turnkey and thought i'd share.
Here's how it looked. http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps436b45fd.jpg http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps2486db4e.jpg http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...psabcc74af.png http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps5b28cc9a.png with black rivets painted the same body molding flat black as the grill http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps6bfd6c59.jpg |
Here's my 370z Nismo conversion w/ CF High Wing at Infineon Raceway

What size duct hose did you go with?
|
3" since I had my existing ducts routed as that size already.

i totally forgot i didn't need an adapter since I factor the 3" diameter into my design. I made it the same angle as my old duct (similar to yours) so it diverts away a little bit from the washer fluid reservoir.

Same place has I have mind. Didn't have to flatten my hose to fit.
