Yesterday it was 72 degrees* and I took the Jag to work. Immediately I was stopped by some tree/road work flagger. While I waited out the time, a Mustang Cobra 500, blue, with stripes stops behind me. I am thinking ahead as to where I will pull over and let this guy go.

When the flagger turns the sign to slow we do. Past the work were a few turns, the old XKE still maneuvers well. The Mustang just fell away and my disgust level climbed.

It even turns out when I complained to my gal about this idiot, she said I know. I was behind the Mustang.

* far and away the nicest day of the year.
i can appreciate your disappointment but i just love visually admiring the Mustangs....aggressive front end appeals to me
Lol! Not as much as the aggressive rear end of the Z though

So when I drove the Z this morning I had a light grip on the wheel and was moving along at a good clip. I normally place my car where I want it but I think about what I am doing. Today it was like floating, while placing the car exactly where it should be. I wish I drove like this more often.

Thank you Mr Saab for pulling over and making my drive more of a run.
i know what you mean there...sometimes i arrive at work after an effortless drive and feel short changed tho....missed opportunities to zoom vroom the Z
