I'm giving a huge shout to Jenz and Ryan for helping. Ryan was able to get my car covered under my warranty and saved me a lot of money, hassle and heart ache. I owe them huge! Thank you again, it was a very selfless act to help me out. Car should be ready by the end of the week. I'm hoping to find a sliver of time to run some tests and strap it down again to see if there is anything else that needs taken care of.

So let me blow your minds. I called GTM, got an answer from Pablo in two rings. I needed the acc belt size they're using. I had a message in 5 minutes with belt sizes, pictures and diagrams. There was a follow up call 5 minutes after that to confirm I got everything. Because of his prompt service, I was able to get all that info to the techs at Nissan and get the belt ordered in time to get it delivered by Friday. Car should be ready for me when I get in town. Sorry everyone, but my post sales service has been awesome.

If Sam was like Pablo... Pablo won't last long at GTM, either he leaves soon or he's going to have a stroke for the amount of stress he gets from upset customers...

SS_Firehawk 04-10-2014 01:19 PM

Everything is put back together and running. Now the bad news... Ryan found the culprit to the low power numbers. It's only making 4lbs of boost. Now my call to GTM.

Well at least you can start the diagnostics in earnest now! Let's hope they can find the problem and fix it once and for all cause unless you, Sam and Pablo are best friends....well I'm not sure why you need spend so much time talking to them. :wtf2:

If you go turbo you won't ever want a supercharger again especially on this platform.

SS_Firehawk 04-10-2014 05:13 PM

I'm hoping we can fix it without having to get it back to GTM. I need two cars right now. I have zero time for the forseeable future. This only sheds light on the fact that I need a DD now.

Hmm. Maybe the seals in one of the compressors are blown -- did you say one was spinning freely, as in with no resistance at all?

SS_Firehawk 04-10-2014 06:38 PM

The Superchargers felt fine. The traction drive system could be the reason they felt different.

I know I'm machine gunning updates. I'll clean it later. Ryan is running a smoke test to check for boost leaks tomorrow

SS_Firehawk 04-11-2014 07:35 PM

Update. Ryan couldn't find any boost leaks. I'm going to pick it up tonight and drop it off to GTM before the end of the month. I'm not taking it back until that $hit is perfect. I'm not waiting more than several days either.

Zat_Zuma 04-12-2014 09:02 AM

I hope GTM can find and repair the problems

I like the premise and potential of the dual supercharger kit from GTM but your problems are tarnishing my enthusiasm for the kit

Good luck in your repairs and I hope you'll be back on the road in no time

Jordo! 04-12-2014 08:01 PM

Good luck!

Car made it down to PHX. Definitely nice having balls to pass cars. I even managed 18-19mpg averaging 80mph. I found another squealing pulley. Driver side SC pulley makes a lot of noise when cold. Oil temps were170-180 the whole way except a couple time when I was passing 3-4 cars at a time. No more rubber smell either. Sam really wants the car back in the shop to take care of it. Now it's on me to get it to him.
