Holy shjt, 540/410... Will update when I get more info... Still driving.

I would think those would be the mustang dyno numbers. I don't see the point of adding a percentage since its being compared to the original mustang dyno numbers. Regardless it's going to be a blast to drive. I wish I would have been there another day to take a ride in it.
I heard the car when they where driving it about a block away. Sounds good too.

Thanks for the kind words. I am still in disbelief because it went way beyond my expectations, I really need to see it to believe it.

Woot! Thanks, glad u like her voice :p
The numbers just look very much like dynojet numbers and they know they % difference between their old and new dyno. Of course, it would be great regardless, I'm just awe struck. This is the first time my Z put up numbers higher than anticipated... Like 50-60whp more lol. I'll do a full write up with pics vids, dynos and review tomorrow... If I can bring her home.

Edit: mustang dyno is set up to output similar numbers to a dynojet (I think)

I decided to leave the car with GTM to have methanol injection installed, get my AC working correctly and the fan module for the high fan setting broke. It will be there for at least two more weeks. the quoted numbers are indeed converted to dynojet numbers.

But oh my effin goodness, that car is absurd! It drives like a Z with more power at slow speeds. Everything is just butter. Once past 3500 rpm I can really feel things open up. 1st gear is just sacrificial to your tire God. Outside of that the car holds traction surprisingly well. But the reality is, no one will truly understand how refined this car feels, and how fantastic it feels to drive until you're in it. I'm amazed. Words just feel inadequate. I felt like a little kid, the smiles on mine and my Wife's face was permanent. The money spent felt irrelevant. It's absolutely outstanding. I did confirm the superchargers are Rotrex C30-94's which are the largest in the line. Sam seriosly did four pulls on the dyno while tuning and it put down what it did. They weren't even going for big numbers! GTM will post a thread on the finished product so I'll let them finish this off and then just append it here. I serious stand here amazed and lost for words to fully describe it. It feels so natural and evolutionary in the way it feels and makes power!

Regarding meth, after talking with Sam we decided it was the better way to go. Essentially the Vegas heat will murder the motor in it's current tune. Timing will retard like Simple Jack. To preserve the motor and maintain it's current power level in Vegas, I felt it a smart idea. On top of this, the headers and new toys under the hood make under hood temps insanesly hot. So yeah, another big expense for the sake of reliability...
Oil temps stayed at 180-185 throughout my hooning session. Fangs were removed as well to get more air flow on the sc coolers.

The superchargers make a faint high pitched whine too. Darth Vader BPV sound effects rock. The Whiteline sways are great. Not sure what they set them at, but roll and understeer were minimal. New rotors lines and pads made a big diff in brake feel, the car has much more initial bite too. The clutch feels stiffer with the JWT clutch/flywheel. It def chatters. I don't mind, Wife wants me to upgrade to an OSG unit when it goes. Sam feels it won't last too long at these power levels. The flywheel really lets the engine spin quickly, I noticed it immedietly, more so then pulleys. SRM is rev matching like a champ, it feels much more aggressive. I dig it. That's most of the good stuff I can think of in my 15 min drive. Hood struts... Eff that prop rod.

Sad I didn't get a chance to see it, but glad to hear how great it runs. Keep the updates coming!

tturbo370z 08-24-2013 04:41 PM

Dammit I was glad to see your car gone so they would start on mine again. :stirthepot: funny I recall u saying that a few mos ago :roflpuke2: so glad it was worth the time and money and that the wife is equally happy. As we both know if momma isn't happy life sucks

Congrats man!!!!I can't wait to see pics. I will definitely have to come to C&C in Vegas and check it out.

SPOHN 08-24-2013 05:13 PM

Good news

gabe3d 08-24-2013 09:08 PM

Great to hear everything went well and that you are happy. The power curve on this bad boy should be very special compared to the other sc kit. Can't wait to see your dyno graph. Keep up the good work.

showme99 08-24-2013 09:08 PM

Sounds like the outcome was everything you had hoped for and then some. Congrats, and enjoy your car's new personality.

SS_Firehawk 08-24-2013 10:36 PM

Well correction... 550 whp lol, no meth. I think we can conclude that this kit performs.

Also note, these numbers are with PPE long tubes, Motordyne Y pipe and resonator, and Tanabe exhaust. Holy shjt does it sound good, I couldn't believe what I was hearing... No rasp, not super loud, and just mean as all hell. GTM has vids they will post in their own thread, I don't want to steal their thunder in their thread. Words are so woefully inadequate.

Wanna swap differentials? 7AT's ratio is lower so you'll be able to put the power down a lot better or be able to USE your gears, lol
