In the past 3 weeks have done the tail of the dragon 3 times, not all in the Z.
But it is the most enjoyable. The other two were my GF Honda Element and my MX-5, with the top down of course... With being semi-retired, trying to do the dragon, when ever I am home... On the tail of the dragon Back end first time trying from my google photos, if you can't see it, please tell me, I need to learn new things..

nope the fall colors are out, which made the drive special
I have been driving the tail since September 30th, except for one week twice in the Z once in a Honda element the rest have been in my Miata Wanted to watch how the leaves changed and have no excuse for not going once a week...

Well decided to sign up for this course
Driver61 - Sim Racing Fundamentals MasterClass (MX-5) https://driver61.com/sim-racing/sim-...aining-course/ did it for two reasons... 1) my sons are always 3-4 seconds faster than me... 2) just maybe some of what I learn will help me in on track days I'll let you know on how it all goes... starts this week and goes for 5 weeks...

It will definitely help. Sims are no different than the track, good instruction and seat time!

Driver61 - Sim Racing Fundamentals MasterClass (MX-5) review week 1 and week 2
week1 - Technical was a technical time on understanding discord, iracing, the training software/access, and remote access if needed. Week 2 - vision -- here is this week outline
So far it has been good, educational as to trying different things. I have always had a problem of not looking far enough ahead. Working hard on that. The group training, may need some improvement, there are up to 6 of you in the session, and the instructor takes time watching you race and how to improve. I had a hard time with this, because of how loud iracing was vs him talking to me and understanding about where I was and what to look for. those are my thoughts....

Vision in all sports is key to success. Good vision allows you to act and anticipate if you have to react you are on your back foot or have to slow or pause. This is not good and you will be slow. This way hard to do even if you tell yourself to do it because hwo far and where do I need to look and then you got to keep any eye on everyone else , oh and don't forget the corner workers too. The answer is seat time!
