I got you on strut bar, I just need to be home to get it all together.

It's funny say something about the pwjdm cooling plate I have CFE fixing mine now.

Regarding the tow hook. Have you considered the Takata tow strap? It definitely requires some fabricating, but I'm getting mine altered now. I'll post on my thread when I get it. Hopefully the next couple of weeks.

I know you haven't forgot about me and the strut bar. Though it would be better if you sold me your TS bar. :bowrofl:

I like your Takata tow strap idea ;)

I just need something to mount it to since I don't have the tow hook/crashbar any more. I thought the intercooler was more important :roflpuke2:

Gotcha!

Anything I'm forgetting?

I might be interested in a crash bar depending on what you come up with. I'd have to do some research to see if what you come up with will fit a G.

Keep us posted on the TiAL BOV fix. If it's that common then it's likely something we will all need to know.

Not much of an update.

Still waiting on seats, and strut bar. I tried to contact TiAL, they only offer an email address for contact, no phone number that I could find. So I emailed them my issue with the BOV's sticking open at idle. I received one reply, they asked what my boost gauge shows when that happens. I responded back and haven't heard anything else. It's not like I have a rare problem, google 'TiAL BOV sticking during idle' and tons of hits come up. I don't know how these companies stay in business with such lousy customer service. :shakes head:

From what I've read you just need to put in a stiffer spring. It is opening because the vacuum is stronger than the spring at idle.

Thank you. :tiphat:

The problem is getting in contact with someone so I can purchase a pair of springs.

Did the bov come with more than 1 and is it possible to stack them like in a wg?

It's strange how so many people have this problem and they haven't done anything to mitigate it.

No spring options in my Tial BOV box and I'm positive Gale and I received the same box

Do you know the spring psi? They are available up to 12.

Unfortunately, no. The instructions that come with a Tial BOV and WG are lacking to say the least. The WGs didn't even come with a discription of what spring does what. Thankfully Sasha makes it easy and tells you to put the yellow one in!

The BOV's come with the 10 psi spring. No extras. The waste gates on the other hand came with a range of springs.

I did get paperwork for the waste gate springs. I can scan it and send it to you if you need it.

That would be cool. All I got was a diagram of how to plump it up, nothing on what combination to use based on desired psi.
