Ok so I just spent the last 3 hours going through the entire life of this car and I must say you deserve every bit of acclaim that comes with your hard work. The ONLY thing that I have not liked is the mirrors. I don't know exactly what it is but they seem to interrupt the flow of the lines of the car. She has swooping long round curves. My fiance tells me she is like a full figured woman (not fat but she gots some muscle!). The mirrors are slight and angular which interrupt the smooth shapely flowing nature of the car. I am curious if you've found that to be the case as well.

Regardless, much respect and I hope you win many more shows with her!

On a side note, I have never had issues with blind spots with the stock mirrors. Too often people adjust their mirrors where they can see the side of their own car and that is probably why that is the case. You don't need to do that you already know where YOUR car is! lol. Down and away is the proper adjustment because you will see the front left or right bumper of the car before anything else.

Yes I totally agree with you. Everyone who has seen the car in person love them. I on the other hand am still on the fence. The functionality I love, the cosmetics are still growing on me. Originally I ordered the short arm mirrors thinking they would blend in better. But, something was lost in translation and Craft Square fabricated and shipped the long arm mirrors. They would have corrected their mistake but I would need to ship the mirrors back to Japan, and wait another 3 months for them to fabricate the short arm mirrors. I might get some Carbon Signal V2 fenders to go with the aggressive look of the mirrors... not sure just yet. If I decide to sell these mirrors I will wrap or paint the stock mirrors black so they don't stand out as much.

As far as blind spots go, I never really had an issue with the stock ones as I set my mirrors up much like you do. The Craft Square mirrors just show a lot more than stock, and I have them set up the same way my stock ones were.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the compliments! :tiphat:

I will comment that part of the reason I really want the CraftSquare mirrors is because they are much smaller. They OEM mirrors block my view when turning. More than once I've found them blocking a pedestrian or cyclist crossing the street I am turning onto.

Agreed! They block my view as well. Sometimes I have to go slow to make sure I don't hit the curb

Updates,

My Top Secret engine cover has made it to the US...

Still working on some custom seats, I'll hopefully know more by the end of the week.

Thinking about fenders but not 100% sold on any that are currently available. CS's v2 fender is not too bad, but I would want to make a small modification to it.
