Maybe I can convince wife to get me a fathers day present :roflpuke2: JK next year though

If it was up to me, you would be getting an early Fathers Day gift.

Peaked out at 12.1 psi tonight. I'm thinking of starting a pool for when the motor will pop.

Who wants in?

LMBmikeZ 06-14-2013 10:54 PM

ok.......

once you surpass 18 POP!

I figured a date, like last week of August or second week of July . I'll need to do some thinking about this :rofl2:

I think more like 14-15 psi, depends on cylinder pressure. I would say that's enough to go boom though.

Mr&Mrs 06-15-2013 02:35 AM

Oh I misread your post but 12.1 could last for ever depending on driving habits. I like the crank the boost till it pops way better :driving:

That's just it, I'm not cranking up my boost, I have plenty of power as it sits  My gauges and boost controller have a peak hold function, I always check after my drive. 12.1psi is the highest I've seen. I thought the boost controller was set up for 11.5, so it's not overshooting too far off really..

Boost controllers work great and are life savers. But are not flawless ever time you choose to go full boost/ full throttle. You'll be fine.

I know... I'm just looking for a reason to start talking to someone about building my motor. ;)
