You have a pic of where you put your EVC-S?

Not yet. Right now its sitting in the cubby above the radio. I'm planning to make a false floor and face for it so I can still use the rest of the cubby for storage.

Should I build two?

Hahaha -- unfortunately no I have the stock Nav so I can't use your genius creations for this purpose!

Offsets are +20 front and +18 rear.

What do you mean about updating the first page? Update with pictures?

I don't know where a good place would be to mount the display in your case. What are you planning? I was thinking about modifying the rearview mirror to house the EVC-s (think between the top of the mirror and the headliner).

Was thinking of that too - I already have my radar detector mounted to the underside of it. Also thinking of maybe blocking off the stock water temp meter if it would fit there since I can have that displayed on my PLX multi-guage. Other consideration was to fab it into the sun visor - but not sure if I will want to be able to see it all the time.

I just looked at my blendmount for my radar detector and I'm 90% sure you could flip it over and have a super clean mount for the EVC-s.

I like the sun visor idea. I put it in the cubby as a temp thing. Right now I'm assuming its going to be a set it and forget it thing for me so I won't need to keep an eye on it.

I fired it up today. Checked for leaks and topped up the oil. Confirmed that the gauges (other than the oil temp) are functioning properly. I found one leak on the output from the oil filter relocation fitting. A quick check with a wrench felt like it was as tight as it could be. I'll have to remove the fitting and re-do the Teflon then re-install. No biggie.

Yes, I do have video. It's not much to look at more for the noise. I'll have a look at it tonight and try to edit something to post up for you savages.

On another note. I'm thinking about doing a single 3" exhaust with it exiting the centre of the rear bumper (where the fog light is). I found a weld shop around here. I'm going to draw something up and ask if they can make a custom tip for me. Then when I get the exhaust guy to make the pipes for Sasha, I'll ask about fabricating the 3" exhaust.

A square tip that fills the entire hole would be dope. What would you do about the notches for the factory exhaust?

I'm looking at rebuilding that entire area. Maybe add some diffusers for looks.

ts-c63 01-30-2013 08:50 PM

ive always thought that a center style exhaust would look insane, as long as the empty spaces are filled in properly. It will have a Lp-640ish look with a center sqare exhaust.

Congrats!

I would recommend going with 3.5" if you're going for a single exit. Looking forward to the outcome
