It still needs something... I still have plans for the PS reservoir and I will be modifying the coolant reservoir, possibly doing something new with the intake piping and BOV's too. All of that will be this winters project, right now its time to enjoy the car.

Actually Lee's build is quite affordable, mine... not so much.

Yesterday we went to a car show. I was entered in the Infiniti/Nissan class, but at the very last minute a judge came over to me to let me know I was going to be placed in the "Elite" class because I would, his words, destroy the Infiniti/Nissan class.

Elite class was the best of the best........

First place Elite class,

UMM IMO you "destroyed" elite class too (should've been 1st).. TT is nice but your Z is on a different level

Congrats on the trophy Jason. It takes a lot to win. So do you know the point spread between the two of you and can you tell what made him take 1st?

I don't know the point spread. From what I could see we would be equal on points up to the engine mods, I have a turbo on a NA car.

I didn't expect to win anything at this show, not because I didn't deserve it, because people here do not know what they are looking at when they see my car. There is one show here where people know what they're looking at.

I don't want to come off sounding bitter, or sound like I'm making excuses but, the Audi guy is affiliated with the show organizers. Don't get me wrong, his paint job is very nicely done.

FWIW, my 5 year old son thought it was strange when he noticed one of the judges getting a 1st place trophy.

You are the big winner as you have done an excellent job raising your son as he has a keen since of fair play. The hardest lesson is being and staying fair in an unfair world! Keep on kicking but my friend.

Things that make you hmmmm.

They shouldn't be judging if they have a car in the show even if on a different class. It is what it is.
