Dude, take a dishonorable discharge and come finish your build. What is your setup cost at as of right now? Just p.m. me if you want. I'm thinking about going N/A as well. Motor lives longer.

LOL my deployment is almost over and so I will be back to my Z in a couple of weeks. I have to lay everything out and create a list of everything I had done to the vehicle. Give me a day so i can figure it all out with parts and labor and shipping. I really want to get the my data sent to UPREV to get them to give me an Etune cause the idle has to be raised due to the cams.

Do you have an approximate idea more or less of what the ball park in power you will be making to the wheels? You said you had a sprint booster along with an uprev tune. Will the defeat the purpose of either or as far as throttle response?

Well with all the head work I have done and the cams and everything else I have with the right tune I would probably say 370-380 whp. I haven't had a chance to send any data to Uprev for an Etune because I was only able to drive it a day then had to deploy so I still have the break in process to finish when i get back. JUN has come out with a more aggressive cam profile and so I think when I get to the states in Oct I will be swapping the new cams out for the higher profile cams due to there aggressiveness. By the end I am looking for around 400whp. I believe the motor will last longer if built to factory specs all motor then any F.I setup. I am in the process now of acquiring the GTM stage 3 transmission to handle the power load cause the automatic transmissions are the weak link in the car. I was just reading the results from the GTR intake manifold and i am not impressed for the time that was put in for the fitment and the results are lost low end power but gained top end power just like the M370 manifold.

Hey everyone. I am still in Japan. I finally go home in about two weeks. While I am here last weekend I traveled to Tokyo and was able to visit JUN. I met the president of JUN and it was so awesome to pick his and the head mechanics brain. I also asked what was in development for the z34. Currently they are working on the intake side of the heads and the VVEL. They will be finished with what they a developing in about two months and make it available to the public. I asked if it was computer related he did it was not. It was going to be mechanical for the intake side. I did bring up the subject about an intake manifold. Of course the wonderful R35 have a priority but he did say its step by step for our cars. I did say that a lot of people are going F.I but a lot of us also want to stay N.A. Their clients vehicle with all upgrades in the heads and bolts alone made 382whp and 323tq. When they perform the intake side development they are estimating around 405whp. He said his clients are always wanting to push the envelop with N.A power in the z34 and are wanting for power and products for the z34.

I am going back this weekend before I leave and his clients are going to be there this time with their z34's so I will take some pics. If we want quality products we all have to give it time our vehicles are not old and he said JUN and other Japan based companies know that the market is big for the z34.

That would be awesome maybe they have a display model they would be willing to part with. They no longer make the strut so it would have to be a used one. That is the only piece im missing besides their wing but I dont really want that.
I ordered it back in November but when they went to outsource it (they do not make the strut in house) something happened between them and their supplier.

Here is a video of a ride along with the JUN z34. It's a built VQ37VHR engine with high compression pistons, connecting rods and cams. 382 whp.
