Here are a few pics from my friend's photoshoot with my car... also got the Eibach camber kit + toe bolts last night and had it aligned to -1.5 front/back.

Car is almost ready for the track this season! I know it's not all dedicated hardcore track car without the coilovers and super-sticky tires but they'll be plans for the future. I figure I'll feel it out with the Eibach springs (plus the car sits pretty damn nice I think) and the stock Potenzas aren't half bad. Gonna be a fun spring/summer season with the car.
Ran into another member of the forum at a car meet the other day and got some pretty sweet shots with a RHD GT-R Also had a small Z/G meet this past weekend as well: |

Friend got a new camera and decided to test it out... here are two of my favorite shots. Recently added the ZSpeed undershroud which is going to make oil changes a breeze, and new brake parts are on for the upcoming track season!

The car settled perfect! What kind of tracking do you plan to do? Are you set up with all your better fluids yet? possibly SS lines?

I'm looking to do a couple trips to the road course. Oil is taken care of with the 25 row cooler and Redline fluid, and brake fluid has been changed to Motul RBF600 with SS lines and new pads. I am thinking about getting the brake ducting but don't know if it'll be enough of a hardcore track car in the future to really be hacking up things on my bumper. Overall I'm VERY happy with how the springs make the car sit. Coilovers are definitely on the list in the far off future but for now I'm very happy with how the car is turning out.

Been a LONG time since I updated this - kind of took a bit of a break from ordering mods for the car since I went so crazy in the first 3-4 months having it. Well, racing season is here! Did my first autocross with the car and placed 3rd out of 19 in the novice class also a bonus pic with another forum member here.
Next plan is to get a nice stickier set of tires, maybe on another set of stock Rays, for the end of this season/next season. Today's project is fixing a broken stud though since one of my friends snapped an extended stud on my front left wheel. Blah! Last edited by PharmDZ; 10-11-2013 at 12:31 AM. |

Latest update... and my newest purchase. Picked up a set of Enkeis and Toyo R888s just in time for my first track day tomorrow! I've done two autocross events and absolutely loved it. I can't wait to do more. A little intimidated, but can't wait to get out on the track. Here are some picks of them mounted and ready for track use:

Thanks M&M! Haha when I first threw em on I felt kinda "meh" about it, but threw some tire shine on and got it out in the sun... big difference. I'm sure I'll love it even more once I get it on the track and feel what those tires can do.

It will be night and day compared to the stock wheels and tires. Those are one of my favorite track focused wheels.

You weren't kidding with the night and day... The setup handled beautifully!!! I was shocked at the amount of grip I had. In my novice group I was running laps around GT-Rs, M3s, and most of everything else out there. My instructor at the end of the day had said I was running fast and consistent enough to even jump to the next group up that was running on their own with no instructor necessary. Wish I had a go pro, but ill get video next time around! Of course I did hit fuel cut once on the predictable long fast right hander. Filled the gas tank back up the next session and was fine.

Long story with that one Wheeee. Whatever the actual whp it was definitely plenty to keep up even against some normally much quicker cars (at least enough not to lose them completely on the straight and catch em in the corners).

Understood... but I am just wondering if you meant 305rwhp....
I have a similiar mod setup and UpRev and went from about 285 stock to 294 rwhp on 94 octane without dyno tuning (plain test run only). My buddy with similar mods was tuned on the dyno by Specialty Z and got 305 rwhp.... Seb was sure that no one was going to get much more than that without cams or engine work...
