Underneath the car. On the passenger side I got a straight shot on the mount that bolts to the engine. On the driver side it was a portion of the timing cover/ and the engine block. I know that doesn't sound pleasing but you have a very very limited area. But for me it's nothing. I can take another pic Saturday. But it only took my dad and I 15 minutes after our gameplan.

If that's true and I'm understanding you correctly, then the clip would only make contact with the pad backplate near the middle, right by the bridge bolt? If so, then yeah, I could have it backwards.

under the bridge bolt and then the other end should have two little ears that stick into the tab holes on the left side of the caliper in the picture where those slots are.

Yeah, I'm definitely not in little holes on the right currently, just have the right-most ears laying against the backplates. With how high up those holes on the left are, though, the plate would only be making pad contact in the middle near the bridge bolt, if I'm understanding right?

Updates on Z1 Poly Motor Mounts & Transmission Mount
After some good driving on these mounts they are awesome. Mostly from the Transmission mounts. Did not realize how much slop was in the tranny area. Shifting transitions are so much smoother. Especially when turning. No flex at all. If anything I highly recommend the tranny bushing.

Nice, mine are in the mail (urethane engine/trans mounts) BTW I decided to just kill the brake pad clips. I emailed Jim @ Stillen about the clips and about whether to lube anything in there, and his answer boiled down to, paraphrased: "that stuff's all about NVH. If you don't care about NVH, don't bother putting in the clips and don't bother with brake parts lube on the pad backplate either (or anywhere)."
