the 7AT needs a functional EVAP sensor for the proper calculation of the Calculated Load
if you deleted the EVAP setup, the 7AT will always be at 100% calculated load and this will cause an excess unnecessary wear over time.

dont get me wrong , the tranny will work the way its suppose to but with a bit less reliability

I just went into my emails with Uprev and this was on one of the last email that we exchanged on that subject.

Be careful with the EVAP removal. There is a pressure sensor as part of the EVAP system that is used in calculating barometric pressure and this affects a few different things outside of the EVAP system, like how the car calculates load. I recall seeing issues with a particular Titan which had it's EVAP (including this sensor) removed. I don't remember exactly what fix was done for that particular vehicle(Jared would probably know better), but if your sensor is currently removed, it would probably be better to wire it up just reading atmospheric pressure.

I bet I can figure out which sensor that is and just leave one sensor dangling and reading baro pressure. Would be easy to test by monitoring calculated load, which I believe Cipher shows.

it should work
just something add a bit more on this...

when I tested the setup, it randowly took a certain amount of time to the tranny ecm to get into safefail.
let it run for a couple mins or even for a few miles then shutdown the car then restart
the ecm should normaly be in safefail.

if its still show normal reading under Load Calculation (25-35% at idle) then you got the right sensor.

One is vaccum and the other was for the throttle bodies coolant passage in which I deleted that also.

I just haven't got to removing the line capped off cause it routes under the car in all direction and I didn't want to fool with it yet. So far as the line that is filtered I was under the assumption it has to be there for the tank to work proper and vent it's self. Such as for the flapper when filling and for when it's hot it releases pressure in the tank. I see what your saying though about not needing the filter and line would serve the same purpose but by adding a filter (and leaving the line intact) in the location as I did it directs the fumes to the rear of the car where the air will pull them out.
roger roger...thanks again for the nice DIY...

Spohn, did you preserve the steering position sensor?

I ended up shredding the entire assembly trying to follow the horn signal path. It also looked like I couldn't mount the hub without getting rid of that assembly. How did you handle it?

No I didn't. I don't really need all that. It was simpler not to.

Can't get my pics to upload but installed a AAM oil pan spacer, AEM oil temp gauge, front and rear tow straps, and removed another 15lbs off the car. 8lbs was off the front of the car.

Default New Ralco RZ Performance Short Shifter

Installed all new Ralco RZ Performance Short Shifter for our cars. This was given to me by Ralco to perform a full review. So look forward to it Friday night after my track day. Already seems like a solid piece of quality.
