Update:
MX52Z came over to pick up his vented fenders.. Really nice guy, we talked about 2 hours strait about our Z's. Thanks for helping out !! No one comes over and leaves with out working a little on the car.. Fuel Pump Done: CJM tie in for the return line needed a little modification but went on easy.. I put the intake on and wanted to check all the clearances. Everything looks good! Man everything is getting tight, I couldn't find a spot on the passenger side for the fuel regulator. I was thinking of welding 3 studs to the underside of the strut brace. That will let me put a bracket there also easy to adjust and read pressure. Idler pulley should be here tomorrow, rotors Friday and waiting on spark plugs before I can permanently mount the intake. Thanks for looking..

With the added brace you should be fine I dont think you will have a problem at all. I found a picture laying around of the 35mm cog before I sold it I think other people that tried had the standard 20mm that would fall off. I know becuase thats what I was using at first when I use to have the blower on my car.

It was great meeting Joe yesterday and while I technically got my hands on his motor, I wouldn't classify it as work, haha. Glad to be part of the club though and hope to meet everyone else in time.
Felt just like my garage....Z in the middle with tools and parts surrounding it. I was really impressed with all the parts and cutom work done and still have a million questions and more stuff to check out when I have more time there. Yeah, that cool fuel regulator is definitely going to be hard to fit somewhere without interfering with something else. |

Update:
Finally got the rotors, pads, calipers back on. I wanted to bleed the brakes but will save it for another day. I had to take it slow! The rotors are slotted and dimpled. No cross drilling here! Also found out my sticker guy screwed me. You will see what I mean as soon as you see the calipers. Happy Mothers Day to all!

Hmmmmm tasty. Not my wheels just using them until my M130's sell. Looks awesome though.
Kelly came by today and we got the exhaust off and the test pipes. Now I can weld the ARF Bung and wrap them with Ti-Heat wrap. Ordered new Gaskets for the FI exhaust. That 3 bolt pattern I have to order from FI direct. The rest are the Stainless steel one from Z1. They seem to hold up the best. Almost there, my pulleys get here on the 23rd, plugs on the 26th..

I'm getting the Stillen S/C installed on my 08 350Z right now, so I've been spying on you 3.7L guy's cog setup. What idler pulley did you have to get from Stillen? Is it something to do with the Cogs?

I tried using a vortech part but the bearings they use didn't match the bolt diameter I needed to secure it to the SC plate. I just got my 35mm COG to replace the 50mm. 35mm with 32 tooth looks like the right way to go. Plenty of clearance...

Sweet. I already stole your part numbers for the Cog setup. Hopefully that's all I need. So, did you end up with 34 tooth jack-shaft and 32 tooth S/C? I'm going to start gathering up parts for the next couple of months as I break-in/debug all my recent upgrades. Good luck man. Ill continue spying on your progress.
