Matt pulled up and I showed him the rims. man I took my last look at them and I really did like those M130's. I think a nice powder coat will tone those mags down some and reveal my sophisticated side..

Dumped Redline Water Wetter into the reservoir today, ran good. Tomorrow I will go through and check all the bolts to make sure nothing is loose. (I have a knock up under the dash next to the fire wall. I think one of the hard lines is tapping on something under there.

Also I think my ground for the battery is crap, I will run a cable from the negative to the engine block to fix my grounding issues.

Couple of small things going on but she per's like a kitten on steroids.

What was used to read the IAT's because with uprev the stock Maf's read this and with the Stillen kit there relocated to the front bumper. This does not give you true IAT readings.

100 degrees IAT's are not that bad if its 100 outside ,having ambient temperature is pretty much what your going to get unless you have some other method of cooling the air.

Today was a long good day.. The car has been running good but it just didn't feel right. You know how it is when you here a new noise you don't recognize. Man it keeps me up at night wondering what some of my noises are. Messes with my head :excited:.

This morning I pulled the hole front end off the and found some loose bracket nuts, also started looking at where Stillen tells you to mount the water pump (Driver Side Wheel Well). I decided to move it to the passenger side.

I relocated the PS Cooler lines down and cut out a cavity so they tuck up and out of the way. I smoothed out the core support for a good mounting point and Bammm it's mounted! The oil cooler lines run right around it and barley clear the pump. Its a radius bend so not worried about it, no sharp angles. I was able to remove about 4 feet of AN12 line by relocating that pump. Now it sits below the reservoir and has less work to do to move the water into the heat exchanger.

I also found my 25 amp inline fuse was blown. Ironic it powers the pump and I have no idea how long it's been off. I'm going to rig a small blue LED in the cab as an indicator light for the pump. That way I'll know if it's off or on. I've been blowing hot air in the engine, no wonder it didn't feel right.

All fixed and a few less noises..:icon17:

Sorry no pictures, I know; :worthless:. Sorry :tiphat:

I love it when the day feels productive and it's like you can't mess anything up lol. Then the next day usually sucks for me, I can't seem to find the problem or fix anything lol.

I survived Zdayz 2013... (barely)

Still can't get my ASWC right so I'm putting that away for now and focusing on the RJM clutch pedal assembly. Instructions call for two hours so that'll probably translate into two days.

Update

Okay,
I have never claimed to be the smartest tool in the garage and I just proved it!!!! I think I will start a thread called What Not To Do To Your Z !!!:tiphat:

I picked up the 25amp fuse and installed it. The pump came to life but I had no circulation in the reservoir. I let the pump run with the car off for about 10min and nothing.

Dumb A_s mistake #1 I took off the AN fitting to the intercooler hoping to bleed the air out of the system.

Dumb A_s mistake #2 I put the AN fitting in my mouth and SUCKed real hard :rofl2:

Dumb A_s mistake #3 It worked and I know have a stomach full of Redline Water Wetter

Dumb A_s mistake #4 I scramble to attach the AN fitting wile the pump shoots Distilled Water/Water Wetter all over the engine bay.

Dammit, now I feel sick as hell and resemble a Red Neck joke! My engine compartment is gonna smell real nice driving Grandma to the Doc tomorrow. Well it worked and I got the reservoir all topped off. Time to throw up :roflpuke2:....

.

Oops, sorry. Just realized I posted in your build thread instead of the Tampa one. :(

Have a good throw up.

Nice set of wheels i plan to buy those as my track wheels on semi-slick.

http://i1048.photobucket.com/albums/...psbaa35be4.jpg

18' 8.5/+35 Front , 10/+32 Back

What offset is your wheels so i can see if i would need spacers on those if i buy in the future.

Excellent built and choose on parts

Mine rims are 20's and I don't have spacers on the front. It clears the brake caliper by 1/4 inch. The rear need 20mm spacers for stance, that photo there are no spacers on the car. I have to install the studs, planning to do it Thurs. I only have 15mm spacers in the garage for the rear but 20mm will give me the perfect stance. The rims are nice, they just don't have a name like Vossen. TV show "How Its Made" did a show on forged rims, when they got to the finishing stage the rims they were making were these Project D's from Lenso. I just don't like the cheap looking center caps..
