Update:

I didn't spend much time on the car today but I did get some stuff done. All the hoses are built and routed. While I was finishing up the pump hose the Fed Ex truck pulled up.. He dropped off my battery cable I need to move the battery to the trunk..

Next I test fitted the compressor. My god it was PITA to get in there. Its amazing (5) of these little bolts hold the hole thing on the front of the engine. Once I got it lined up and got the grand wires re-mounted I saw the drive cog is really close to the upper A-Arm nut. I have a plan to stiffen the flex plate but for this I thing I'll let it idle and hold a metal cutting saw blade on it and cut 1/4 inch off .. Depends on my medications !!!

I got back to work and fabed this up.. It is supposed to keep the hole thing from flexing under heavy load. I'll try to get to a welder later and weld some washers on there to firm the mounting point up. I like it! Looks good and is adjustable.. Bling

Tonight I'll take a show with the heat exchanger and intercooler.. They are full of calcium build up..

Have an awesome weekend, please Rep +1 if you like..

Thanks brother, we used a ceramic coating.. It was cheaper to coat it all wit the same stuff. So the calipers and SC stuff is all the same.. It does look good, as soon as the rotors arrive I'll put the calipers on.. I wanted to get the same blue Osirus has on his calipers but his are gloss I left mine flat.

Cool Thanks

Had a fun time today moving your battery. Thanks for your help with the new shift knob. I never would have gotten it off by myself.

Is there a reason why you didn't cut the small bracket off near the pully?

Man I wish I could but the weird thing is that its the only thing holding your upper A-Arm in place. Strange isn't it. That little tab and bolt hold the hole left side of the upper A-Arm in place.

I was going to trim it back, but I decided to go ahead and have the pulley turned and remove 1/4 off the outside lip. Kelly and I pulled the compressor out today so I can remove the pulley..

Update:

Chptr11 came over at about 0800 and we went to work on the battery relocation. I had 16 ft of battery cable that we ran along the passenger side up into the battery compartment. There is a rubber boot for one of the wire looms that goes into the car. It was a perfect spot to run the cable.

I used the stock battery for now and hammered out a bracket to hold it in place. The issue we had was the 20 feet of sound deadening we had to cut though to get to the metal.. Found a good ground point next to the battery and ran the lines along the interior panels.

Bob did a great job, he did most of it as I can't lean over yet.. Thanks Buddy you rock for coming over on a weekend and dropping everything to help an old war horse out.. "Lights "

Really!? Wow! I should have taken a better look at it. I thought they were bolt retainers for the stock air boxes.

Yes sir, Vortech 2A032-030 50mm... I also found out I am missing the smooth 2.5 pulley on the lower SC bracket.. Not the one that replaces the ribbed pulley. So I call Stillen and ask to order a replacement ASAP. The guy gets the info and cost but says his Management wants me to pay by ck or money order.

The last time I bought the stock drive pulley I had to sign a waiver before they would send me anything. I also submitted a Better Business Bureau Complaint that was the only way I could get any response from them to complete my order.. If I only lived in Ca. still I would be on there door step in a second.

Vortech has a 3inch smooth pulley, I don't know if that will change my belt size. I thing a 1/2 would... Tempted to try it for $39.00 vic $150.00 stillen wants.

What a bunch of douchebag's,

That's a nice adjustment you made, 2A033-030 35 MM is the one that I used it fits better either way nice job.

I was going to go with that but a few others had an issue with there belts coming off. I went with the wider cog to avoid that and also added the bracing to keep the flex plate from flexing under load.

I adjusted the tension on the SC and it was smooth, after tightening down all the mounting hardware the SC barley spun (no rubbing). I think the SC plate is warped or purposely manufactured like that. Stillen wont answer any questions now so who knows.

Installing fuel return today, rotors and idler pulley from Vortech will be here tomorrow and Friday. Will update tonight.

Shout out to CJM for the fuel return. Excellent customer service, they called me to see how the fitment was with the Stillen Intake. They were prepared to help out with a solution if there was a clearance issue. Thanks Charles.. CJM Stage 0 Return Fuel System
