Wiggins3377's 40th Anniversary Z

It's been awhile since I've made a post, but I've continued to add items to my engine bay. Nothing crazy yet, but I pulled more bronze into my bay. I already had my Top Secret oil cap painted, but decided to strip it and reprint my self. Color is a little more matte because I sprayed matte black first on each coat followed by a coat of bronze. Finished up with three coats of clear. It doesn't match the wheels perfect, but I think it looks good. Decided to paint a couple other pieces to match as well, including my Password JDM Fender Washers. I still need to put 6 of my 15 washers in, but not sure where I can put them. I'll figure something out.

I also purchase an aftermarket aluminum radiator overflow tank a few weeks back, and was hoping to have it in time for Midwest Z show this weekend, but it doesn't look like it'll get here

. Debating if I should paint it bronze as well or maybe have someone airbrush a "burnt" look on it to match the intake tubes (I don't think you can get the burn effect on aluminum, someone chime in if you know something I don't). What do you think?

I also mounted my iPad mini using ProClip products, it's not as clean as doing something in the cubby hole, but it'll work for now.

One more thing, I may be bagging my Z real soon, I'll keep you updated.

Just got the results from last nights photo shoot... Nothing but the best to say about his work. Meet him at cars and coffee on Saturday, photos on Sunday and results on Monday.

Quick update. I received Simota1's old red grounding kit in the mail yesterday. I have to say he did a great job putting these together (based on his Z I wouldn't expect anything less). I've been looking at the Stillen kit for a while and I'm definitely glad I waited. I'm also still waiting on my aluminum overflow tank

. I was told it shipped out a few days ago, but still haven't received any tracking information and communication between myself and the distributer is spotty at best. Hopefully I'll get that by weeks end that way I can install the tank and the grounding kit at once. The tank is an easy swap out, so when I go to get it airbrushed to match the "burnt" effect on my intakes it shouldn't be a big issue putting the plastic tank back for a few days.

Speaking of "burnt" effect, I located and purchased a fairly rare used part that will go great within my intakes and painted overflow tank yesterday, the best part... no wait! Here's a little sneak peak. Hopefully I have them in my hands within the next week!

My Top Secret oil catch cans where delivered today

. Gonna try to install this Sunday. I need to replace the hoses, since they are pretty gross, but i sent Z1 a message so hopeful i get some red ones within the week. I'm also gonna have to take some of my Z1 hoses out, so I'll be posting those for sale within the week.
