Gotta stick with Work Wheels. Ive had two sets and I've loved them both. Mark we'll be talking as soon as I sell my GS4s and after Cincinnati Cavalcade is over.

Finally got my calipers on and my car back on the ground. Feels good to make some progress. I also had time to test fit the GT Spec Strut bar and I'm taking it to paint soon. I'll post pics of the install and a write up soon. I went a different route than others and cut individual holes in the interior panel for each bar, it makes it look like the car came that way, however I cracked one of the interior panels and being the perfectionist I am I'm looking to replace it. A note to others considering this bar, it's perfect for a harness bar. I test fitted my Takatas on it.

Oh I also received my PWJDM cooling plate... It's terrible. Worse than others have documented. Now I have to deal with their terrible customer service and have to file a Paypal claim.

I thought so. He's the best. I'll have to get a shipping quote, I bet it's an arm and a leg to send my callipers to him and ship them back.

That is just a shame with the cooling plate. They actually thought they could pass that off on someone :shakes head:

I need to get my calipers to Mike at some point before Spring. Only issue is I dunno what color to go with since my wheels are FZero blue. That purple looks awesome!

I agree, it's a joke. I bought a fiberglass kit yesterday and im going to try to fabricate something similar to their design over the xmas break. Once im done (if all goes well), im just going to send it to CFE to wrap in carbon fiber.

The door panels look awesome. Too bad one broke!! even worse the cooling plate:shakes head: im still looking forward to the strut bar install. That's gonna look crazy sick:yum:

Small update. I just received my headlights and side markers back from paint. I think they look pretty good. Now I just need to put everything back together. However I have one small issue/ question. It looks like there is some silicone residue on the inside of the headlight housing. Anyone have suggestions on how to clean it?

Nice work buddy!!! I can't wait to see it all together:excited:

Given I’ve had the last two weeks off I figured I’d give everyone an update.

For the most part I’ve been putting my car back together and getting everything prepped for the air cup kit. I finally baked my headlights back together and installed them as well as installed my door handles. I’d take pictures and provide them, but the car is extremely dusty as I’ve been doing some fiberglass work in the garage and the pictures wouldn’t do them justice. So once I have the car out of the garage and cleaned up a bit I’ll post some pictures.

In relation to the headlights I do have one concern that’s annoying me, there seems to be some swirl marks and a little fogging on the casing. At first I thought it was in the inside of the casing so I took the headlight back apart and cleaned it again, and that helped, but they still aren’t perfect. Maybe they were always there and it’s just more noticeable now that the headlights are darker, but it’s really annoying me. I tried polishing the casing and that didn’t help, so I think I’m going to get a headlight restore kit and try that. Did anyone else have this issue?

As for the cup kit I’ve been doing quite a bit. I originally wanted to hide the tank and compressor in the trunk similar to how Liquid_G did his, but the three gallon tank that came with the Phantom cup kit won’t fit. So I decided I wanted to show the tank off and I’ll now be mounting it to a false floor in the trunk. Unfortunately the port layout on the supplied tank isn’t the best for this, so I bought another tank, some aluminum airline and various other fittings from BagRiders to get the look I want. I’m thinking ill paint the tank 40th quartz and the aluminum airline purple. I’ll post pics of the mock up next weekend after I get the new parts and have a chance to work on my Z. I also installed the paddle switches in the center counsel and ran the power wire to the battery. Unfortunately Phantom is still waiting on the swift springs so I don’t have my coils or cups yet.

I also got my GT Spec rear strut bar back from paint… it looks great, I just need to get the air tank mounted and ready and I’ll install everything… btw the purple on the brackets (which I’ll use for the aluminum airline) has a hint of green in it so it looks great with my Brides!

that's gonna look great man!

Yes on the headlights. When you wax your car, go over the headlights too. That will keep them looking good like the rest of the car. A lot of people forget about this. The imperfections on the surface doesn't show as much with the chrome background. Now that it's painted a color, and a dark color!, it shows up more.

that looks really great man!!!!! i love what you did with the bars
