I wasn't even going to go because I knew there was rain in the forecast, but they said it would be patchy. We didn't hit any rain from 9:30-12 and then the skies let loose.

yea I think on wet surfaces, vehicles CAN start to hydroplane 35 mph, although there is no official speed in which it starts as it depends on a multiple of factors.
