Don't need a primary if I'm running open headers:stirthepot:

I dropped off the headers yesterday and got to "see" my car for the first time since July 30th. It still looked kind of cool even though it's under the knife.

Chris Nelson of Nelson Competition called me yesterday. The completion date was pushed back again....aiming for completed assembly by the end of this week. Then install and finish everything up next week. It's getting CLOSE to my deadline since I'm registered for a boutique Fesitvals of Speed show in Orlando October 21. I still have to install the wheels and do paint correction before that. I'll be busy next week:icon08:

Another week has gone by and still no car...

3 weeks ago, they said the motor should have been complete by October 5th. Then I was told October 9th. Then I was told by the end of last week. Apparently, they ran into an issue with the crank and it had to be sent back to the machine shop. The motor is being assembled now, but it doesn't look like I'll have it back in time for Festivals of Speed this weekend. Not happy!

I talked to RSI for a good bit. I would have sent them my car had the motor not already been pulled out of my car.

I want to see more videos of your car!:driving:

I'll get some new stuff up at the end of the month, we have a booth @ import face off so I'll get a bit of coverage there. I need to get my hands on a go pro as well. I'm getting meth hooked back up and a fresh tune (hopefully VVEL too) for the fall/winter.

I received the invoice yesterday and the motor is ready to be picked up! I will HOPEFULLY have it back Saturday!

Not only am I not being compensated for the multiple deadlines being past and me missing a big show, but I'm being charged for shipping? Funny seeing that the motor is being picked up since it's only 2 hours away.

It better be there if they're charging you shipping and it's 2 hours away!

I called and found out they invoice on a separate line for total shipping charges of the items purchased, rather than the shipping charges being included on each line item.

The motor was picked up yesterday afternoon. I bought some Woodhouse Dodge polyurethane motor mounts and transmission mount and had them overnighted for delivery today. :happydance:

"Do you want me to reuse this ragged *** clutch?"

Ughh... new clutch ordered. What else do they want to throw at me? Why did I just pay to overnight the motor mounts if I have to wait until Tuesday to get the clutch?
