Back on the wing subject, is that the "normal" static one (12" high x 65" wide) or the SCCA-spec one (10" high x 61.5" wide)? I'm not quite to the wing stage of things yet, but starting to think ahead and look at others' setups :)

Also, while I was digging around Aeromotions' website, I stumbled upon some Aero-porn. I'd never put this kind of money in a wing for HPDEs, but damn that S2 wing is sexy in action. It's split in the middle and has its own dynamic angle controller (per-side!) that knows when you're braking and which way you're cornering, etc:

Mike doesn't have the module for the brake flap yet. But who cares. It's full of win.

I got the SCCA spec one. You never know what the future may hold, and if its good enough for Brian Kleeman, its good enough for me. I'm happy with the performance of it this weekend.

Had a blast instructing too. Member ValidusVentus is my student this weekend and he is really smooth and consistent behind the wheel.

btw, I put my car on the scales this weekend. With me in it and 15 gallons of fuel, it was 3320. I am 210 and the fuel is about 100 lbs, so it should be right at 3000 lbs. empty.
