I would agree with you IF I was just making a diffuser alone, yeah it could be overkill and not provide much but drag wize , it would be less

I would agree with you IF I was just making a diffuser alone, yeah it could be overkill and not provide much but drag wize , it would be less than stock.

Lookup on those Time Attack forum and especially on the F1 forum that guys modify their street car like ours with those aero improvement. on every occasion where guys were doing their testing with equipment to know the pressure difference with the underbody, the diffuser/flat bottom ALWAYS worked and provided hundreds pounds of downforce. remember just a splitter alone can provide a ton of downforce by just having a very small pressure difference between the bottom and the top.... this is not a guess but calculated. no I wont do any pressure test why ? because I know the drag will much lower than the crap underbody we have, also it will have the added downforce. this wont really give much of an advantage in the slow track but it will on the fast track, fast corner.
