more good news !!
After about 3 straight working days on the HR engine harness (28hours). I completed the Version # 1 !!!! I estimate 85% chance of being able to start the engine !! hhehe then I decided to take another picture of my goodies I received a little while ago. I bet !!!
the engine was only installed with the PPE header !!! no catback !! on a side note , it was probably very rich by the smell it had !! a lot of tuning has to be done since I installed the VHR injector but the base injector setup is only a copy/paste from the old setup. on the first startup, I decided to just put the OEM intake setup because of the unknown base tune since there was NO AFR sensor installed either. I discovered once everything was installed that my VHR AFR sensor had a different plug than the HR one.... it was only running off from the MAF Last edited by Megan370z; 02-24-2013 at 02:25 AM. |

small Update !
soo let recap what happen the last time I worked on the car. I had the wiring setup done after 30++ hours then I went ahead to see if the engine would fire up ! which it did but what I didnt mentioned was I completly overlook some very important part of the setup !! Remember the car had an automatic, so this time the car is receiving an 6MT which I had to buy a bunch of stuff !! - Flywheel - clutch - HD CSC - clutch master cylinder - RJM clutch pedal assembly but what was forgotten was the clutch bolts !!!! I had to go thru the dealership to get those . after a week of waiting I decided today to pull the engine out again to do the switch of those bolt since I had some temporaly bolts for the engine fire-up test While I was waiting for those parts (9x bolts + washer and 6 L of 6MT fluid.) I started a new project that will be quite different from anything I have seen on the 370z ! who can guess what it might be ! let just say its under the hood and no . no FI |
