(Btw, that's my dad's redline 07 in the pic ![]() ![]() ![]() Before the Swifts, right after my first full detail w/ Zaino... ![]() ![]() Background A little back story on how I ended up w/ my Z. I originally had a 2006 Daytona Blue 350Z Enthusiast 6mt. She was a beaut... ![]() ![]() It had a handful of bolt-on mods... Motordyne MREV2 Motordyne 3/16" Plenum Spacer Motordyne Shockwave TDX2 Motordyne Adjustable Sway bars JWT Pop Charger Koni Yellow Adjustable Sport Struts RS*R Ti2000 Springs All good things come to an end I guess. I made the mistake of driving it to work one day in February 2010, with a winter storm in the forecast to hit during the drive home. I was hit by an eighteen wheeler on I-44 in STL after spinning a full 360 and facing it head on (hydro-planed while merging onto the highway during rush hour traffic) ![]() And she was gone... ![]() I miraculously walked away with only a few bumps and bruises. Needless to say, I was pretty scared and timid to jump back into a Z. So I went out and bought a 2011 Evo X. It was a fun car, but it wasn't for me. ![]() Fast forward 7 months (to this past November '11) and I've got the urge to get back on the horse. I find myself a beautiful Magnetic Black 2010 370Z 6mt w/ Sport package and only 2k miles. I couldn't resist... So I drove 6 hours down to Memphis the day before Thanksgiving to pick her up... ![]() ![]() And finally home! ![]() There's a lot more in store for this Z! Stay tuned - and thanks for checking out my journal ![]() -Scott

Nice work! How was that EVO compared to the Z since you have fully owned both?
BTW those Missouri tags look ugly as hell lol.

If its kept clean! Thanks!
![]() Thanks! ![]() Thanks, those are actually the temp tags from TN. They were fugly! The Evo was a blast to drive, but so is the Z. I have a comparison posted around here somewhere. I'll dig it up.

GreatOne - I was afraid the 25's might be too much for the rear, but after the Swifts were installed and I got an alignment, they sit perfect. Couldn't be happier ![]()

Got my Evo-R lip in. The quality is superb, however there is a chip in one of the corners from shipping. Oh well, I dropped it off today on my lunch break to get repaired and painted magnetic black.
pics (sorry, from my phone)... ![]() ![]() ![]()
