Hey Charlie, yep I live in the area. I live off of Telegraph. Do you park in the commuter lot off Richardson? If so, I dropped a note on your Z a few weeks ago. Hope you got it!

Yep, I got it. I live pretty close to the lot. Funny, I didn't see it until I was driving off and thought it was just another advertisement until I got out and read it. I was surfing the forum the next day and was in a thread about how rare it is to see 370's around town and saw a post from you and noticed the STLZC.com in your sig. In your post you mentioned there was a yellow 370 around your area and I thought that must have been you that left the note. Several weeks ago, I got stopped at a light next to a guy in a super clean red 350 and we complemented each other on our rides - now I wonder if that was your dad.

I'll be sure to check out the STL Z club and from your pics, I'll definitely have to check out ZdayZ next year. I didn't even know what that was until recently.

My only mod is a fast intentions cat back which I cannot speak highly enough of. You mentioned you were thinking of boosting? Are you thinking SC or TT? Either way, I'd love to check out the finished product.

Yeah, that was my dad. He told me about the conversation you guys had at the light and how clean "the yellow 370" was

I don't know if I'll be boosting the Z just yet. I've got a lot of ideas running around in my head after ZDayZ. I definitely need to get better at driving the car NA first, so I'll be attending a lot of autox/HPDE this summer. Tires/wheels, brakes, and an oil cooler are next.

We will be going on a cruise here soon, I'll keep you posted!

Love the pics and so wish I was there this past weekend! Looked like a blast. Also, the car looks soo clean. Great job so far.

I just purchased a 2012 Z magnetic black and I am enjoying the fun. No mods to the car and I still plan to keep it in stock condition. I just turned in my 2004 Maxima SE which only had 37K miles on it and it was cherry! I miss the room and the ride of the maxima but the 370 is something much different.

What does it mean when you all refer to 6mt?

Right on, Scott! I'm neck deep in Mustangs and Camaros down here in Arnold - it's nice to see a fellow Z brother in the neighborhood.

I'm excited to hear about your build progress. From what I've read, you'll need that oil cooler if you go FI anyway, so might as well do it now I suppose. Is the rest of your exhaust (besides the TP) stock? Man, I love my fast intentions catback. It really makes the car sound amazing. I've thought a little about the long tube headers, but I'm just not sure about deleting the cats and how much louder it would be. From the videos, it really sounds mean. Have you had any problems with emissions inspections with the test pipes?

Keep me in mind for the next cruise and I'll check out the STL z club in the meantime.

Yeah man, I'm right on the edge of Arnold in Apple Valley.. technically Arnold unincorporated. I usually just say I live off Telegraph

There are exactly 4 Z's that I know of around here now - yours, my dad's, mine, and a Silverstone Z33 that lives in the apartments behind QuickTrip there at Richardson.

The plan was to do the Boosted Performance mid-mount single turbo. The kit actually comes with an oil cooler as well as a few other turn-key components to support the turbo. I say "was" because I realized [at ZDayZ] boost is totally unnecessary for the type of driving I enjoy. We'll see, Sasha (BP owner) says the kit won't be ready for awhile. Plenty of time to think about the direction I want to take with the car.

As of today, my next mod will be a set of wheels and stickier tires. I should have everything ordered and purchased by next week
