It's good to see somebody that rides a Harley that looks outside the box and drives a jap car, do you understand what i mean? My dad and alot of other Harley riders around here are hardcore american or nothing. Too them i say kiss my a%s.ATTACH]2372[/ATTACH]

Not to get too political, but I won't buy another American car. I hate Fords and I refuse to buy a car from a company controlled by the government. It's my way of saying no to socialism.
I love all bikes. I ride a Harley because I am into that lifestyle. If I had some extra cash I would probably get a sportbike too. I always rode Hondas when I was a kid doing MX, but I love the Yamaha R1.

It's just cool to see someone who don't care what you ride or what you drive. When i'm on the cbr i wave at everybody, might not get the same response but who cares.

It's funny 'cuz I've owned almost nothing but GM and GMC products since I got a driver's license in 1960. When I first saw the 370Z though, I knew my truck was history. OTOH, I can't ever imagine riding anything but a Harley. Here's my "other" ride ('08 Ultra Classic). Been riding a "bagger" for the last 20 years.

Harleys just suit my riding style. I bought the bagger 4 years ago because my now ex-wife had a slipped disc. For a cruiser or touring bike I prefer Harleys. If I were to get a sportbike, which would be mainly a bar hopper, it would be from Japan. Sorry, but Buells don't do anything for me, and I had a v-rod at one time. You would of thought I was on a Jap bike then with the way HD riders looked at it.

It's kinda funny because the Z and the Harley are two totally different beasts. I have over 6 grand in the engine of that Harley and it still couldn't come close to matching the performance of of a 600cc sport bike that barely costs more than the upgrades.
The way I see it the Harley is for cruising and taking it all in. The Z is for letting loose, and it's a lot safer to let loose on 4 wheels than it is two.

That is a nice nightrod. Like I said I used to have a v-rod and unfortunately the bike hasn't taken off with the old school HD crowd. I took a huge bath on it when I got rid of it, but at least it was paid for. That is the best engine Harley has ever designed. It doesn't hurt that Porsche had a big hand in it's development. There used to be a v-rod forum that I frequented quite a bit. I think they had to change their name to 1130cc.com because of a Harley lawsuit, but it was a great place to talk v-rods.
