I noticed last night that I have a small "chip" broken out of the rear side front engine cover (13035+A) right on the seam where the two pieces come together. It's in a spot where it would be impossible for me to have done it by dropping a tool on it or something ... no clue how it got there, or how long it has been there. Car has been running fine, though today is only the second day I have driven it since before winter. It looks like a piece of the gasket or seal material is missing along with the tiny piece of metal that used to be a part of the rear cover. Is it anything to worry about ?
The diagram below the chip is in the backside piece ... and a photo of the chip as well. UPDATED: Based on information from another forum member in another thread, these are actually pry holes for separating the two halves and are nothing to worry about. ![]() ... and a shot of the spot. ![]()

... engine bay after CJM fuel tap and gauge upgrade ... I ditched the little plate that was in the way as opposed to grinding off the tab in the way. Works like a champ !

... installed SPL end links and a hotchkiss swaybar in the front. Upon inspecting the stock end links those things are pathetic. Mushy, mushy, mushy and they don't look very good. SPL stuff always impresses me in how stout looking they are.
![]() SPL traction arms, hotchkis rear sway on the middle hole, SPL end links in the rear ... already had the SPL Rear Camber arms so slowly adding all SPL. ![]()

... and had to add a little more color in the engine bay so got a Gates Racing Belt to replace the dull plain black thing I had in there. Have UR pulleys so had a shorter than stock belt in there, just matched it up to the appropriate Gates Racing belt. Same part numbers, just add a RB to the end and you end up with racingo version that is blue and has the white gates racing logo imprinted on the outer side.

I have noticed it only takes about 4 hours for fuel pressure to drop to zero ... wondering if this is normal as other's had posted that fuel pressure would still be present when disconnecting the fuel line to install phunk's little fuel tap and gauge deal. I am guessing it is normal for the fuel pressure to become almost non-measurable within several hours.
