I was going to do a trackday today. But because of the damage I did last weekend to my Power Wagon tires. I had to cancel the trackday. I have to get 2 tires for the Power Wagon. One of them has a hole in the sidewall big enough to put your hand in it. And the other has some of the knobs ripped off deep enough to see the cords in the belt. So my money has to be spent on truck tires instead of trackday.
Well, the day wasn't a total lost. I did get the AM Perf. oil pan installed.

Got the issues fixed with downloading pictures from my cameras to the computer. Damn missing drivers! So here are a couple of pictures of my AM Perf. oil pan installed.
1st. pic. The AAM oil pan spacer. 2nd pic. The stock oil pick-up tube with the AAM spacer. 3rd pic. Another shot of it. 4th pic. The AM Perf. pan. It uses a modded stock oil pick-up tube.

Did a trackday today. Still down loading video's. BUT, I got this one of a real GT40. The owner refused to tell us on what he paid for it. From what I got. The car was built in England. The owner was scared to drive it. He ran in Group 1 with an instructor.

A real real original GT40, or you mean one of the remakes? (I hate to call them replicas, because they're made from the exact original plans with a few minor improvements and modern-ish parts, so they're nothing like typical crappy kit cars). The real ones are so rare I'd be shocked to see anyone actually drive them on a track. (But then again if I were rich enough to acquire one, that's totally what I would do with it).

Man that's amazing. Wikipedia says only 107 were ever built (and that's all of the submodels combined over the few years it was made). I'm not even sure how many still exist in working condition, but they're all worth a fortune.

I know. It got to be worth about a mil! Looking at it. You can tell that this was a race car at one time. One thing I notice was that the knock-off hub nuts was safety wired, and some other stuff that I seen on it.

Last run of the day. I had replaced the battery in the GoPro, but forgot to plug the mike back in. I knew my rear tires were going away. The rear was slipping around a little. Coming out of T6. Had a big slide. From that point on. I decided to back off a bit. Good thing I did. When I got back in the pits. I checked my tires. I had corded the inside of the right rear tire. Ordering 2 new rear tires tomorrow. 325/30-19 PSS's. The fronts are still good. Also removing the rear Hotchkis bar and putting the stock rear bar back on.
In the video. At the 3:30 mark. Coming out of T6, is my slide. It don't look like much. But I had a vacuum on the seat.
