They look great, but stock calipers? After spending all that money on rotors I would expect a matching upgrade to the calipers?

6 pistons calipers are down the road when my driving skills increase. The stock 4 piston calipers are not bad. Pad and rotor choice play a big part of their performance. Also, others things need taken care of too. So I have to choose wisely.

Even C&D said that the issue wasn't with the hardware, but its due to lack of cooling. The much heavier FX50 uses the same hardware

I had no doubt you looked a tall you options that why I was so curious about the calipers. I would have expected them to be temporary until I saw the powder coat and thought you may have just deiced to keep the nismo look, but you generally pick substance over style.

You know if you would have gotten this silly care a little sooner it wouldn't have taken much to convince me to keep mine

I looked at everything out there. Brembo's, AP Racing, etc. For now, I decided to stick with the stock calipers. But calipers needed some color to them. They blended right in with my wheel centers. And Mikes prices are not bad at all for powder coating. So I bling them. LOL

Fair enough, they certainly do look good.

Replaced the Lower Front Bumper Fascia. From when I clipped a curb with it on my last trackday last year. Got the new one from the link below. About a hunderd bucks cheaper then the dealer. There is a piece broken off of the bumper tho. Going to try a fix it with a plastic welder. You can see it in the last picture. I was under the Nismo today, and the new fascia is already scrapped up.

Also when I replaced the lower fascia. I notice that the 3 plastic rivets that hold the diffuser to the frame are gone. This is the 3 in front of the oil pan. I have a ZSpeed diffuser too. So I got some Well Nuts that would fit the holes. Put them in and screwed them tight. No more having to worry about them disappearing. And it's tight.

Got a GoPro Hero3 Black. And bought all the toys for it too. Been playing around with a mount for the harness bar. It's from RAM Mounts. It's for an atv roll bar. It secures with a hose clamp. Using an external mic. I have it taped to the rear bumper. Between the exhaust. It picks up the exhaust, road noise and some of the wind. The problem I have now. Is that my computer has to be up dated to be able to down load the videos.

Weird. I haven't had to do anything to the computer to get the videos off. You could get a $10 SD card reader and avoid that.

Make sure you update the firmware on the camera! They're buggy pieces of junk without the updates. I helped a friend get his working last weekend at Mid-Ohio. Took great video once we got it upgraded!

Oh! How is that external mic? Do you still need a big dead kitten to get clean sound?

That's pretty sweet! Your not messing around with a setup like that.

Interested in the videos once you get that computer updated!
