Also, a littel of topic from the Oil Cooler, but Rusty: How much Louder or Deeper did your exhaust get once you had add the headers to the F.I. catback?

If that is true - that would eliminate the need to "duck tape"?

Trying to figure this out for myself too.

Here is a link to the Z1 Cooler: Z1 Motorsports 370Z/G37 Oil Cooler Kit
- At the bottom of there description they talk about the thermostatic plate.
I have the thermostatic plate. It never fully closes. It's design to let about 10% oil flow through. Once the oil starts to heat up. The plate will open to 100% at around 180F.

So if I'm driving in weather less then 50F. I will reach through the front bumper opening and place 2 or 3 strips of duct tape across the bottom rows of the cooler.

I added to my first post of this build thread. I have listed all the things I have done to my Nismo in order with a wish list at the bottom. Some of the parts listed have a part number and/or price with them. Hopefully this will cut down on digging through the thread.

Are you going to consider this for the pss10?

BILSTEIN ridecontrol®

Also, have you thought about robispec v3 (since v3 was in your consideration)? He responded to my pm that he does make them, not sure if any 370z actually running them (other than his own race car I guess).

Never seen that about the Bilsteins. MMMM. When the time comes, I will check on the Robspec V3 again.

Those looks great. Great choice on the color of the powdercoat.

You have to let us know how the "new" brakes feel.

This is off topic - but when you did the Gen 3 install: What did you have to trim to get them installed?

- Was it just the holes to fit the tubes through? Or was there some Nismo specific trimming you found was required?

Thanks Rusty.

Just the standard trimming to get the tubes through the radiator support. On the left side where the A/C lines are. I sliced a piece of hose, and put that around the one A/C line with a zip tie so that the tube and the line doesn't touch one another.
